My team was attached to an Australian unit in Afghanistan. While we were there, we wore their patch on our right shoulder, per their request. Now that we are back in the states, can we still wear the nato-otan patch we wore there? Will we need a memo?

I'm a 31 year old guy, and I could use some advice. I think I'm having a midlife crisis early or something. lol. The problem is I'm 31 years old and feel as lost in life as I did when I was 21. I'm thinking I might have adult ADD, I talked to someone last week who really made a god case for it. I am a very capable person, I'm intelligent, and could probably do anything I want. The problem is, I want to do so many things that I can't make anything happen. I have a hard time finishing things, or completely achieving my goals. I get side tracked and go down a totally different path, which is bad because I have a family now counting on me and I really have nothing to show for 15 years of working. I went to college, I started in fine art, switched to psychology, then went to criminal justice. I struggled to complete my bachelor's, not because the work was hard, but because I grew bored with what I was studying time and again. I finally forced myself to end the cycle and graduate with the criminal justice degree. I have been an artist, a construction project manager, a web designer, a private contractor, a mechanic, a car builder, and now I'm in the Army. Ive been good at all of them. I've managed multi-million dollar projects, and been paid hundreds of dollars for artwork, and now get paid for doing tattooing work. I've been in the Army two years, and I'm at the point where I usually quit and move on, but the 3 year contract I signed is forcing me to deal with this issue. I could probably have a very successful career in the Army, but I'm bored with it. I made Sergeant in less than two years, so I'm good at my job, just like all the jobs I've ever worked at. It's like I work my butt off to become great at what I'm doing, and once I get there, I'm done. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm trying to work out a plan for when my contract is up, but, as always, I have 1000 ideas and none of them are very good because they will all be entry level. Yahoo answers seems to be great at providing insights, so I thought I'd throw this at you! Thanks for your advice

It seems like kids now are more taken by vanity and facebook than actually bettering themselves. I have a 14 year old step daughter who does nothing more on her own time than staRe at her iphone and facebook. Is this where things are headed? Self-absorption and materialistic values? Or am I a poor parent? What do you think? It seems to me that there is a great pressure on teens todays to be less than their potential to remain popular. What can I do?!?!?

Yeah, I saw the comic marvel made. It was lame. Let's say robocop is patrolling and encounters 1 terminator, Arnold-type. Who would win? I know Robocop can't win the entire war against skynet. I'm saying Robocop vs 1 Terminator. Who would win?!?

I want to lower my car, and don't want to spend the money on lowering springs. I already know that this is a bad idea, and that under continuous heavy loads they can fail. But the car is a Geo Metro. It had 70 HP brand new, maybe has 50 now, so high performance cornering is not a stress that these springs will ever experience. Its my commuter, I drive maybe 2 miles one way and never go over 35 mph, I just like tinkering with it. And since it's a geo metro, no one wants to ride in it, so I'm not putting a passenger at risk. Please no lectures on why I shouldn't do this.

I want to lower it an inch or two, should I cut the spring all on one end (top or bottom), or should I split the difference and cut some from both ends? Thanks!

I have a ZZ430 GM Crate engine I put into a 1979 Corvette. It has a holley 750 cfm double pumper carb. It gives me some problems, such as dying sometimes if I get on the accelerator too hard too fast. The engine produces plenty of power, but it's cold blooded for about 20 minutes until it will run smoothly. I've had the carb looked at, and I'm told it's fine. Ive done some research, and it suggests my ignition system isnt up to running this engine. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what type of ignition system would work for this engine? Thanks!

Hi, I have a 1979 Corvette I am having shipped from Indiana to Tacoma, WA. I've been warned by others that have shipped vehicles that far that the paint will get at least damaged and at worst, destroyed. What can I do to protect my paint job? An enclosed trailer isn't an option, it doubles the price of shipping, and at that price, I might as well repaint the car anyway. Please help! Thank you!

I need to haul my 1979 corvette from Indiana to Washington. I'm in Washington now, and I am considering flying home to haul the car back to Washington to sell it. I'm trying to decide if it's cost effective to do it myself, but I don't know what size trailer I need. I want all 4 wheels on the trailer. Does anyone know the overall length and width so I can figure out how much the necessary trailer will cost? Thanks!

I bought a new Toshiba Satellite laptop last year before heading to Afghanistan. I told the sales guy that it would probably get ruined and he agreed, saying the dust and dirt would significantly shorten its lifespan. He said I should get the best buy warranty, because I was taking it to a rough environment, and when I got back I could smash it and get a new one with the warranty. It sounded like a good idea, so I bought it. Now I'm nervous as to whether or not it will actually be covered. Anyone deal with this insurance and their replacement policies before?

Last night I woke up screaming after another alien dream again. I get them from time to time, and no, I don't think I've been abducted by aliens. My wife and kids are currently out of town, and I closed the door to my bedroom for some reason before bed. In the dream last night... I "woke up" in the dream to see my bedroom door open. In the dream, I know I went to sleep with it closed. I jump out of bed freaked out, and I know something is in the house. I look through the door and see faint light coming from my daughters bedroom. As panicked and freaked out as I am, I get equally angry that something is in my little girl's room, so I quietly go in there. Her closet door is open a few inches, the light is on inside, and I hear shuffling in the closet. I go to the door and I can see the aliens arm moving things on the shelves inside. Im shaky scared, but I decide to open the door to hit this thing. I jerk the door open and the alien is taller than me with towels covering its head. It lunges for the door to get out before I can strike and I try slamming the door to lock it in. In the dream, Im trying to find a way to block the door shut so I can get my gun but it reaches out. I'm so scared I barely have any strength but I'm trying to will my way past it then I wake up screaming. The end. I have other dreams with aliens, everything from beating them up to hiding under my covers scared. Sometimes I fight, sometimes I cower. What do they mean?!?!

I have to drive my family from Indianapolis, IN to Fort Lewis, WA, where I will now be stationed with the Army. Only problem is it's the dead of winter and the plains are getting pounded with snow. Any help or suggestions for a good, dependable route will be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!
