  • When I do a google search every website is blocked saying "this website could harm your computer"?!?!?!?!?

Whenever I try and use google there is a message under each result saying "this website may harm your computer" then when I try and click on any of the resultsit just blocks the page giving the same message. This has only started happening today it wasn't happening yesterday. What can I do? Can I turn something off on google that will allow me to surch normally, every single website is apparently going to "harm my computer" when most are reputable websites like the HP one. Why would this suddenly start?!

  • I don't understand this question.. "When two elements are mixed together they can often be seperated.."?

"When two elements are mixed together they can often be seperated quite easily, but when two elements are combined in a compound they can be very difficult to seperate."

From what I understand an element substances made up of only two types of atom, and compounds are the chemical joining of two or more types atom.

I wondered if the answer to the question was because when a compound is formed it takes on a new form, or something like that.

  • Stuck on my science work.. how does cholesterol effect the amount of good and bad lipoproteins in the blood?

I know that cholesterol levels can be increased by the foods we eat and that it is created in the liver, too much can lead to heard disease and diseased blood vessels etc. So I've managed to answer the first part of the question.. but now the book is asking how the balance of Low-density lipoproteins and High-density lipoproteins are effected by cholesterol? I don't understand how the levels of LDS's and HDL's in the blood change =s?

  • The Tour de France cyclists?

Been watching the tour on tv. Was thinking though, what age have these cyclists been cycling from? Obviously they are some of the best in the world, but to reach that level what sort of age do you need to have been cycling from?

  • In powerpoint can you..?

I have to create a presentation for homework and I'm doing one with buttons that direct you places instead of the conventional clicking the left mouse pad to move forward. Is there anyway I can disable the options so the viewer of the presentation has to follow the steps rather than jsut clicking through the slides?

  • Anyone know any books on how to write notes? I've read Tony Buzan's but looking for more inspiration..

Anyone know any books on how to write notes succesfully and how to learn in general? I'm 16 and suffer from all the usual problems associated with normal note-writing as explained in Tony Buzan's The Mind Map Book. I havn't really been hooked on the mind mapping idea, although I can see how to a well trained mind it could be a priceless technique, but I also don't see how you can learn in-depth when you can only write one word per stem on a mind map. Are there any good books out there??

  • How do you report someone claiming Incapacity Benefit wrongly?

Theres this horrible man around the corner who is an ex fireman. Apparently he had an "accident" at work and has been retired now for a long time, claiming Incapacity Benefit. The thing is though, he helped a guy in the village build a massive house, and I often see him on the roof of his house sorting the slates out. The only time you see him "limping" and with a walking stick is when he has to go for an annual check up. How do you report someone for this claiming Incapacity Benefit when they are actually in fine health?

  • Red Bull - does it really do what it says on the tin? "vitalize the body and mind"?

In the last few days I've had a growing addiction to Red Bull. It says on the can "vitalizes body and mind," but while I may feel awakened and back to normal once I've drunk it, I'm sure its having after-effects on me. Do they really have "after effects", or is it just me?

  • HP Pavilion 6820.. spacebar key?

Just bought a HP Pavilion laptop. Perfectly happy with it. The only thing is the spacebar key. Compared to the other keys it can be a bit sticky, and unlike when you press the other keys which are padded and soft, it's very firm and viscious when you press it. Might it soften up within a few days of use, or is something that shouldn't happen? Is it something thats easily fixed if I take it into a computer shop, maybe they can take the sapcebar out and put it back in again?
