The Christmas job is 6 hours (doesn't day per day or per week, though I suspect it is the former) as a retail assistant working with customers on the shop floor.

It asks me if I'm 16 or above, but I don't know if I'm going to be stuck doing it when I go back to school after the holidays.

I ask this because since compulsory education ends at 16 years, the job might be looking for permanent workers who decided not to go onto do A-level.

Is it appropriate for me to apply, or should I not bother in case I waste peoples time?

I apologize if the answers to some of my questions seem obvious or trolling- I have aspergers syndrome and am unfamiliar with many social protocols or norms, hence why I am asking for help.

On a side note, does having asperges syndrome make it completely pointless to apply for a job where I will be potentially be interacting with people on a daily basis. Not that I don't believe I will not be able to adapt to it, but that the employer will take one look at it and see it as a wholly negative point and dismiss the application.

I'm 16 years old and I play video games of pretty much any type (mostly sci-fi games like Mass Effect etc...) And there's a decent amount of them rated M or are violent.

But the thing is I've been playing games for years, I have no idea what people outside of the Gaming community think about games. If I asked in the Video & online games category I would get a biased answer, there was a question there recently asking what people outside the community think and the gamers who replied said things along the lines of;

-they think we're antisocial

-think it causes violence

-dumb/laziness

Of course this came from gamers, and so is an unreliable source. As parents, what do you think about gamers/gaming?

NOTE:

Please don't answer if you play games often yourself, I'm asking people who don't regularly play games/ follow major game releases. It's okay if you play casual games like Wii sports, the occasional Mario game etc. I'm talking console/PC major game releases with storylines or MMO's of any type.

Whenever I load up the game it does it's usual little check for downloadable content and saved games, but now the "checking downloadable content" bit is loading forever, it's been 20 mins and nothing has happened, I am convinced there is something wrong.

The same sort of thing happened earlier. I had the Leviathan and Extended cut DLC installed, it was okay with one of the DLC's, presumably leviathan, because the other DLC loaded perpetually and upon deleting the Exteded cut it allowed me to play.

But now when I try to get back into the game it loads forever again.

Does anybody know what's wrong? Is this a bug? Has anybody else had this problem? Is Bioware going to fix it or did I spend money on DLC for nothing?

I saw a cuple of videos about it when it was in beta, and thought it looked a lot better than the MMO's I have played previously. I was thinking of buying it but I don't want to waste my money (I just know I'll loose the reciept) and for it to turn out that I didn't like it.

I went to the website and found that there was no free trial or test for anyone to test if they like it or not.

Have I just missed something on the website that says where the free trial is? If so can you give me a link.

Maybe there is another MMO I could try out, not WoW, I used to play it but it never really appealed to me, the videos of this beta however did. If you wan tto reccomend an MMO at least give an answer to the first squestion please.

I want to make a costume for the mcm comicon in london in may, I have been before in costume, each more impressive than the last - I have quite a good budget and I can make just about anything I put my mind to pretty well if I can REALLY be bothered, I need something impressive - I was thinking of a hunter from halo 4, I can build it to scale but theres just not enougth good reference pics and at my estimates I would JUST be able to make it.

I need some impressive ideas, I am thinking of entering the amerture section of the cosplay contest and want some back-up ideas, help please?

Naruto, Bleach, One piece, Sword art online, Fairy tail, Death note, Card captor sakura, Akame ga kiru, Portal, Tf2, Halo, Mass effect, Skyrim, Half life, Assasins creed, MLP:FIM, Borderlands and Dishonored to name the mojor ones.

It would be great if the character wasen't just a human in cool cloths but not ridiculously unhuman.

I would like it to be very recognisable.

I have really gotten into deadpool recently, and my friends send me some of the issues they had. Which was almost the compleat first comic, and the 2008 comic upto issue 33. I have looked everywhere, you can't even buy an online copy from marvel themselfs! How is anyone supposed to read it!? I checked everywhere, even that piratebay place, nothing!

Can someone send me the link where I can get every issue upto the current one (be nice if it could start with number 34). DO NOT suggest marvels website, ebay or amason. It does NOT work and you will not get the best answer mark.

I don't have the money to buy a bunch of issues (not that I can find anywhere that sells them anyway) I'm looking for a site that will let me read them online for free. I don't want something that only shows me previews, or gives me a list of the price and when it was released, or expects me to pay to get a subscription that will end up with me getting a bunch of junk-mail all the time. I just wanna read it online. PLEASE, I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE.
