I have to run a mile and a half for a test. I am looking for solid strategies to cut my time down. (Please no "just run more). Right now i run 1.5m in a few seconds shy of 11minutes but i would like to get that down to 9min/1.5m

Ive read running 1min then walk 1min and do that for an hour or so.

So I would like to start a program where I can get people to donate useful dog/cat items from superstores (cat food, treats, toys, essentials, etc). Basically something where someone can see the sign and can drop one of the requested items in the box. Then i could drop it off at a location where it is needed (shelters, foster owners, etc). Nothing fancy!

What are the necessary steps to start this up legit, if any? I would hate to start doing it and get in any trouble!!!

Fixing to have been in Air Force DEP for 12 months next month with no information on a job. I see my recruiter every 2 weeks. So she hasnt forgot about me.

What happens after the 12 months? I know there is some sort of rule.

I have some quick questions about the enlisting process for the Air Force (been in DEP 9 months now)

When jobs "drop" for the month, is it nationwide? Or texas gets it on the 19th but new york gets it the 15th? Basically when they drop are all the job drop nationwide on that same day?

Also what is usually the range of leaving when you find out your job? Or is it totally random, like 45 days from finding out or it could be another year?

Im not sure but i want to say i heard that Texas Rangers (law enforcement officers) can make arrests when pursuing a suspect across the Texas border.

My current girlfriend says its a turn off... but i have heard other girls say its a massive turn on, i know its different for everyone. I was just wanting to hear other opinions.

I did a 5 day hike to machine picchu which was awesome! And I would really like to do some more that are fun and has great scenery and no longer than a week(something not to the extreme of Everest), traveling expenses arnt an issue!! Thanks

I had a quick question about the air force!

After you complete your tech school, and you go to your first duty station. Do you share a room with a roommate or do you have a room to yourself?

Sorry, I've been researching some good meals that will help me put on some weight but not fatty weight! I also workout regularly but I'm tired of being a twig!

I usually eat oatmeal every morning with a bunch of fruit but have no idea where to start for lunch and dinner!

I know this is a question for my recruiter but she's not available for a few days... I'm getting ready to ship out for Air Force basic, or done a full year of college (decided it wasn't for me). I have 24 credits and I read that you get a set amount of credits for basic and for your tech school you complete, how do they add Ito my current transcript? Do I start a new transcript with AFCC? Just wondering!!

I'm in dep getting ready I ship out for basic and I was just wondering how does food work? Is there like a cafeteria? Is it free? Are you limited to the food you can eat? Is it open 24/7?

So I have been a sitting duck in my Air Force DEP for around 7 months. I got a wild hair and sent in a application to join the Cadet Battalion at Texas A&M (and do NROTC) and got accepted with a scholarship. I know dropping out of DEP is a big no-no but exactly how serious is it? After NROTC, you have a mutual agreement to sail for the navy as an officer. (I don't want dropping DEP to interfere with it if I went through with it.)

Does anyone have any helpful information?
