Is eyebrow waxing for guys weird?

I had my eyebrows waxed today and I'm a guy. The reason I did it was to see if it was painful or not. I found it not painful at all, except for above my eyes. That part hurt. I normally have very thick eyebrows with a mind of their own and I just decided on a whim to get them waxed. I do wanna do it again because I liked how it turned out. I'll post a pic of me:

  • How long do I wait before shampooing newly bleached and toned hair?

I had my hair bleached yesterday a gold / ash blond. I really am liking the new hair but I'm kind of clueless as how to care for it. I did put conditioner in it that is meant for blond hair but I didn't wash it. My question is... How many days should I go before washing my hair? I did buy John Frieda Everlasting Blond Shampoo and John Frieda Color Renew conditioner as I was told it was a really good shampoo and conditioner for blond hair. I would like to keep the blond for a while and not have it get brassy or fade. I usually wash my hair 2x a week and I condition 3 or 4x a week. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. :)

  • CVT transmission problem?

I have a 2011 Honda PCX scooter that is technically brand new. (It had 1 mile on it when I bought it) It was purchased at a dealership and I've had it for a month so far. At around 3 or 400 miles, I noticed that there was this kind of grinding noise that seemed to be coming from my transmission. I don't know if it's the belt doing this or if it's something else. Or could it be normal due to it being brand new and maybe it's settling? I am taking it to get serviced next week but, I figure I would ask around here to see if anyone might know why my scooter is making this noise. I should also mention that the scooter sat for 3 years in the showroom and was probably never driven.

  • How long does it take for a license plate to show up?

I just bought a brand new scooter (Honda PCX 125) and I was wondering how long it usually takes for a license plate to arrive in my mailbox. I bought the scooter last weekend (March 21st). I'm just curious... Thanks. :)

  • What's with my scooter?

I just bought new tires and I noticed a couple days ago when I was using my hard case (trunk) on the back, I noticed that it felt like the front wheel felt like it was vibrating. At first I thought maybe it was just the road and how roads aren't perfect. There is this one stretch of road that is completely smooth because it was just paved and that's where I felt the vibrating. I went on the same road the next day without my trunk on and it didn't vibrate. I didn't really have a whole lot in my trunk. I would have to guess maybe 4 or 5 lbs. at the most. My question is why do I feel vibrating when my trunk is on but when it's off I feel nothing?

  • What's a "Brazilian Blowout" do?

I'm a guy who has very outta control hair. The longer my hair gets, the more crazy it gets. I'm considering getting a Brazilian Blowout done on my hair. All I've heard it does is straighten your hair. What chemical do they use and how long does it usually take? I know most of you are gonna respond with; "Get a haircut" but, I've decided I'm gonna grow my hair out because nobody knows how to cut it the way I like and I'm done with cutting it for a while. I would buy a flat iron but I don't wanna damage my hair with heat, so this is I guess what you might call a semi-permanent fix.

  • motorcycle tire question...?

I'm curious to know why when mounting tires on a motorcycle, the front tire is mounted opposite the rear. LIke tires that have directional tread, on the front, it spins the opposite way.

  • What hair color looks better on an Italian guy?

Hi, I'm an Italian guy who's turning 31 in a couple days. I've noticed I'm getting a few gray hairs on the side of my head. I'm considering dying my hair so they'll go away. Should I go Black or maybe a lighter brown?

  • CVT transmission has weird feeling...?

I have a scooter that has a CVT transmission and I noticed it has been behaving rather odd. When I'm going around 30-40 MPH, I can feel a kind of hard vibration as it's going with the engine. For example, when I'm lightly accelerating, it does the vibrating slowly and when I accelerate quick, it does it faster. Might I need a new belt? The scooter has just over 3200 miles on it. It is a 2008 model year and sat for a while with it's previous owner. Should I worry about this or is it still okay?

  • What happens if a battery (such as a battery on a 150cc scooter) gets wet?

Hi there. I have a scooter that has the battery located right under the seat and it is exposed to the elements. I have to drive in the rain tomorrow and want to know if the battery will be okay. I think the metal contacts are covered though I don't wanna get stranded on the side of the road because of my battery shorting out.

  • Is my tire safe to drive on?

I just bought a used scooter 3 days ago and my front tire has somewhat of a gash on it. It goes all the way across the tread (horizontally) and it looks like there is kind of a bubble or lump. It's not big or noticeable but it goes down pretty deep like it was slashed into the tire. My question is, is it safe to drive on this tire? I don't notice any unusual bumping or anything. The tire is a Duro.10x3.50

  • What's the deal with my transmission?

I just bought a used 2008 Lance Vintage 150cc scooter 2 days ago, (love it btw) and I've noticed that from a dead stop, when I accelerate, the engine sounds like it's bogging down. I don't take off quickly, I usually just ease into it and it still does it. Another issue I'm having is my speedometer is 5 mph off. For example, say the speedometer says 40 and I'm really doing 35. My tires are the correct size for the wheels. Is there an easy fix to it?

  • What's with my hair?

I'm a 30 year old guy who has some hair questions... First one is when I was in my 20's, I liked to experiment on my hair. A LOT... I used to dye it all kinds of crazy colors and such. I bleached it twice and as of now, my hair is all natural. It started getting somewhat thin in the front and doesn't seem to grow as fast as it used to. But, it seems to be getting better and a bit thicker. I'm trying grow it out this year to see what it does and I dont plan to apply any chemicals or any kind of dye to it. What ways are there to help it grow a bit faster? I would like to use only natural products and no chemicals whatsoever. Thanks very much. :)

  • Issues with 2001 Dodge Ram?

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 4x4 Off Road that has a few issues I wanna know about. First one is that my cousin, who is a mechanic by the way, says it needs something called a "TOP END FLUSH". I've never heard of it. Second issue it has is at speeds below 5 MPH, such as pulling into a parking space or what have you, it shakes like crazy. My guess is that it was the brakes but the brakes are just fine. Could it be something with the transmission? It's a 4 speed automatic. It's done this as long as I've had the truck. Anybody who is familiar with Dodges hopefully knows what I'm talking about. Thanks. :)

  • Vespa Piaggio LT 150 review?

I found a Vespa Piaggio LT150 on Craig'slist and I'm thinking of purchasing it. Can someone tell me if I'm making a good purchase and if this would be a good scooter? It's $800 and it only has minor damage to the front.

  • Burning oil or new rings?

I have a 2000 Honda Elite scooter that I just put a new engine in. The engine is out of a 1986 Honda Elite. Recently, meaning today, I've noticed blue smoke coming from the tailpipe. I just put new oil in today and it's still doing it. Could my engine be burning oil or is there something else wrong with it? This problem only happens when the scooter is sitting idle. There's no smoke at all when I'm driving. If you know what the issue might be, please tell me. Like I said before, it does have oil in the engine.

  • Is it illegal to drive a scooter with no muffler?

I have a scooter that has no muffler. I t was actually broken off by some idiot who put in a new engine for me and didn't attach the bolts to the frame. My muffler was sheared right off and I'm just wondering if it's illegal or not. The Po-po's pass me all the time and they don't seem to care. It is pretty loud, especially at full throttle and in the mountains where I live. I kinda think it's better because now people can hear me coming.
