  • Can I bring a lawsuit against my bank for giving out information that has caused myself more legal trouble?

I am 28, and my mother has gone to my bank in town and got information about an account my grandfather and I have our names on. They told her that I had power of attorney and had taken over the account. It has caused me more legal trouble and now has my grandfather and I in court fighting to keep her from getting conservatorship over my grandfather. Do I have a case for a lawsuit?

  • What is the deal with life estates?

When I first got a life estate signed it was for only three years that Medicare and the Gov. couldn't touch the property. Now it's five and soon to be ten. Is this true? Can the Gov. really keep shafting everyone like this. I was told that there is no grandfather clause with a life estate.

  • Can you really sell or buy a house legally for a dollar?

I have heard people say that they would sell their house to a friend to avoid losing it in divorce settlements. It sounds crazy to me, but there are far more insane things that are legal.

Or maybe there is family fighting over a home. The owner of the home has poor health and wants a specific individual to receive the home with as little bickering as possible and as cheap as possible. Could the owner sell the house for a dollar? Legally that is.
