  • Can it escalate from here?

I was on the train one day and this guy sat next to me. During the ride, I noticed our legs touching but didn't pull away because I didn't want the stranger to feel as though he was repulsive. My stop came up and as I was looking at my reflection in the mirror, I noticed him staring at me. I thought I knew him and looked back and we smiled at each other (I didn't know him). So, I got off the train and just as I was about to exit the station, he ran up behind me and introduced himself. We exchanged numbers and have been building a decent friendship. He's a gentleman (southern boy) and has a full schedule 7 days a week (he work from 9-5 but gets up at like 5 to get ready for work). The first time we had sex I instantly felt as though I did something wrong. I was crying my eyes out and he was worried that I was truly hurt and consoled me that entire night. Although he was nice that night, I still wasn't expecting him to give me the time of day that next morning. However, he texted me saying "hey love" and I was appalled. He went to church with me the next day and was even eager to meet my mom (although I felt it was way to early for that stage). We're still friends and nothing has really changed since we first met but I have this nagging feeling that that's all he wants from me. I don't want to get too attached because I'm leaving for college soon but even still he said he wants me to come back to visit him since he'll be going to school locally. Am I just being insecure

  • Is my ex-boyfriend over me like he said or nah?

My ex boyfriend and I broke back in October just 3-4 weeks before our 1 year anniversary. I left him because I was battling an addiction with painkillers and it was really throwing my emotions of whack and affecting our relationship greatly. I've said some hurtful words to him that I, to this day, regret and I'm thankful that he's forgiven me for such actions. The reason I was so harsh with him (if this is even a valid excuse) is because once we broke it...he still hung around! People thought we were still together! We walked around the school together, he still called me at night, he constantly bought my breakfast in the morning and all I wanted was some space and time to clear myself physically and emotionally...not be bombarded with "can we please go back out" questions. Eventually, I had to block his number from my cell and isolate myself from him. He felt as though I hated him and was giving him the cold shoulder when I constantly told him I could never find it in my heart to hurt him since he's such a kind person. He eventually gave me space and around New Years, he left a message on my phone wishing me happy holidays. At the time, I was ready to sit down and talk things through with him but two friends have told me that he said he's moved on and only cares for me as a friend. I took it hard but I realized that's life. However, since the time we've gotten back in contact in January to now, we've been talking everyday and every night he's resumed calling me, he says he still has feelings for me, we've cried together on the phone,he says he's not in love with his new girlfriend, he only loves her and doesn't want to hurt her, and he says in 3 years time he can see us getting back together and moving on together with our futures. Last night, in the heat of the Valentine moment, I asked him if he believed that we have both honestly and truly moved on...he said he had moved on. Am I missing something here?

  • Excruciating shoulder pain!!!?

A few months ago, I had a minor shoulder pain. When I pushed down on my shoulder it would pop and then pop back in place however it wasn't dislocated. It soon healed. 5 days ago, I went to boot camp and had to go through severe workouts. (I was never one to work out). I was sore after going through the exercises but I concluded that it was just my muscles being sore from the workouts and it would go away. And most of the pain around the rest of my body did except my shoulder, which got worst. Yesterday, it was just sore. When I was sleeping last night, it gotten so bad to the point where I can't even use my hand to push down on anything (like liquid soap) with this arm. I couldn't sleep on it and I had to move it around slowly. I'm not a baseball player and I rarely swing or use my arms. I'm 16 and this hurts like hell. I don't want a surgery :( what is this???!!!

  • Natural conception or artifically insemination?

My husband and I are contemplating on how to start our family. We both have decided that we wanted to have triplets but since the trait doesnt run in either of our families, I suggested an artifical insemination. However, my husband believes that us having sex and making the baby ourselves will be more special and I can't argue with that. Plus, the cost of the semination (although money isnt an issue for us). I've just always dreamed of having triplets but, I've done a little research and I came across a site saying that fertility drugs increases the chance of birth defects and thats not something I want. :-/ what do you guys think is a better road to go down to start the family of our dreams: Natural or Artifical?

  • What does "you deserve way better than me" mean in this case?

So, there's this guy that I've had a crush on since my 9th grade year in high school (we're in the same graduating class). About a month ago, my boldness set in and I told him I had a crush on him. When I did so, he smiled and said "We'll talk later." I left it at that because I didn't want to be all up on him which may have gotten on his nerves. However, when we see each other in the hallway, we always speak to each other, we even said I love you but, I think it was more in a friendly way than anything (well, for him it was). He plays football and I'm on the JROTC color guard, so I'm there for every game. I made a poster for him and when he texted me that night, he said he loved it. The conversation went a little more deeper and then he told me "you deserve better than me." i asked him what he meant because I thought he meant it in a way saying that he wasnt a nice person. he said " so, i dont lead you on im a nice person and a gentleman but also im wild, reckless, and i think with my penis sometimes and i want to stay friends because you're a cool person and a beautiful young lady but i dont want you to get your hopes up for a partnership because thats not what im looking for right now." I told my sister about this and she said i should appreciate him for telling me and my other friends say that was his way of getting away from me. He's still nice to me and shows lots of concern for me. So was that just a nice way of him keeping me to stay a safe distance or was he truly being genuine?

  • Forbidden Relationship.....?

My ex and I broke up like a few days ago. Everybody and their grandmother knew that he was a player but my feelings for him made me so blind. That all changed when my ex's best friend told me that he was cheating on me. At first I didn't want to believe him at first but the next day, I got a text message of a long message of my boyfriend saying sweet nothings to this girl. That broke my heart as everything came in perspective with me. We broke up and that was that. Well, while all this was going down, I soon found out that my ex's best friend was like seriously the man of my dreams. He loves poetry, I love poetry, he's interested in Psychology and so am I, he's faithful and loyal and he's Jamaican and I've always wanted to have a Jamaican man...but when I really think about it, we can't date can we? Because that's my ex's best friend and they are like blood brothers and I don't want to break up something so close. His friend said that we were meant to be but I was stopping their love because of my ex. I just don't want anyone getting hurt. What should I do guys? I'm really in love with this guy like I can't stop thinking about him but...he's my ex's best friend?

  • Are the others right about my relationship...?

My boyfriend and I met 8 months ago at high school. He was 16 and I was 14 when we started going out. In December of 2010, he turned 17 and next month I'll be 15. We've been together for 8 months working on 9 and we've never broken up although we do have intense heated moments. He's a sweet boy but when I took him to meet my mama the other day, he seemed shy and answered questions with short unintelligent answers and it really kind of embarrassed me. He did respect her by calling her "Ma'am" and saying please and thank you but she still seemed not to like him. Then last night she told me that I seemed to be the smart one in the relationship because my boyfriend doesn't know what he's doing or what he's going to do in life. She said nobody thinks highly of this relationship because people are worried about your future and your boyfriend is just a weight bringing you down. My grades have been good and everything has been going well yet, she still called me weak. Yet, my father, he doesn't complain much about my boyfriend. As long as my boyfriend respects me and my priorities, my father says he's a cool dude. But my mama doesn't support this relationship at all, telling me that I'm just going through a phase with him. Is she right or should I hang on to a relationship that's not even harming anyone?

  • Is this a sign of cheating...?

My boyfriend and I have been going out for eight months and a few days ago we had a heated argument about how I don't trust him and how I get jealous easily. Well, the reason I'm like this is because when he told me about his past, he cheated on a lot of his girlfriends. He was a true player and he admitted that to me. Although I didn't choose to punish him over his past actions, I still had my eye on this retired player of mine. Well, just now as I was looking on his Facebook page, he wrote on this girl's wall, calling her beautiful. She responded with a simple "What's up?" He seemed to be the one showing the affection, putting little hearts beside his comments and stuff but I really didn't trip because her profile said she was in a relationship. But, my suspicions still kicked. I just wanna know if this is a sign of cheating and what should I do about this situation. Please and thank you! :)

  • Am I coming down with a cold?

Today is my brother's 25 birthday so we were over his house eating chinese food and cake. Well, my throat was just nice and fine until after I ate the cake just a few minutes ago. Now, ever time i swallow, I have a dull throb in my throat and it feels like something you feel when you have a cold. I'm not coughing or sneezing or anything however. I am drinking ginger ale if that helps it out. Am I coming down with a cold or something because this just happened so suddenly?

  • How do I get rid of these bumps on my lip?

I'm a 14 year old teenager girl. I really am not a water drinker and my father had a bad case of acne when he was my age. I have 3 small bumps on my lips. I was worried that it may have been herpes but I'm not sexually active but I do kiss my boyfriend on a regular basis. I looked up the symptoms for herpes and it said herpes come and go. Well, the bumps I have on my lips have been there for while and they just stay there. They don't go away and come back so I came to the conclusion that they were just pimples on my upper lip. I've decided to drink more water to make them go away but is there anything else I can do to help them go away? Like wash my face? If so, what kind of soap do you recommend? Any other advice, please? Thank you.

  • How can I help my friend turn from a player to a faithful lover?

I have a friend in High School. He's also my boyfriend. He's in the 11th grade and he's known to be a player to all the girls. It's sad because he used to date a close friend of mine and he was cheating on her the whole relationship. Well, sad to admit, I used to be a player as well. So last night, asked why was he cheating on me and he said "Baby you don't deserve a boy like me." So he went on talking about how he wants to stop being a player and how he asked God to take it away from him and how it makes him sad in a way to know that he's a player. Well, after I told him how I used to be a player, I told him it was up to the player to decide when to get out of the game. He said "I really want to get out of the game because I know it's hurting you to know what kind of guy I really am." So I told him I would do all I can to help him be a faithful young man. It was easy for me to stop because, well it was me, but the mind of the boy is totally different from the mind of a girl. So, I'm just asking how should I go about this situation of turning my player boyfriend into a faithful young man. No, judgment on the people and situation please. Just help me out with some advice and tips if possible. Thank you all and I appreciate your time
