My son is 20 months old. He was such a happy baby. He would get along with other kids, he rarely cried and he loved me playing with him. Once he turned 1 he started to change. Over the last 9 months he has become very aggressive, he HATES when people try to pick him up and will start kicking and pushing to get away ,The only time he likes being touched is when he initiates it. He will randomly start walking backwards, which i think is strange. He is still laughs and has fun sometimes and has good days and he does get along with kids but when a kid takes a toy that he was playing with earlier he will flip out. He wont wave. I think he waved for the first time 5 months ago and it has maybe been 3 times since then. He will only say 2 or 3 words the rest are just random noises. He cant tell me where any body part is, even though i have been working with him since he was 8 months old. He screams loud pitch ALL the time. its not like crying screms like he is sad or upset, its like screaming out of frustration because he cant communicate. He can only follow one command...go get me your cup... he also has formed an attachment to this blanket. I know attachments can be considered normal like security blankets but he is awkwardly attached. he tries to bathe with it, it has to be at the table when he eats, he will NOT fall asleep without it and when i take it outside to put in the washer, he will literally scream and bang on the door for about 15 minutes. I am starting to loose my patience with the screaming. Also, he will kick me when i touch him to change his diaper. I have talked to his doctor and they have me in touch with ECI, i just wanted some opinions on if it could be the terrible two's or does it sound more like he may be on the austism spectrum.

my son is 3 months and i noticed yesterday that he is starting to get thrush. my 3 year old took his pacifier and now i am worried that she is gonna get it too. my baby is already fussy and not wanting to eat and if i have 2 kids with thrush its just not gonna be fun. i am gonna call my pediatrician tomorrow and find out for sure but i am curious now.

i am new at baking, kinda a new hobby i am taking up and im making a buttercream icing. it calls for meringue powder. i have never used it before but i have read that it pretty much serves the same purpose as egg whites...so would it be okay to just use the whites instead of the meringue powder?

my mother inlaw makes amazing icing but instead of asking her for her recipe, i found one online that i decided to try.i am makng my neices cake for saturday and as a trial run i made a cake and the icing came out good. but it still wasnt as good as my mother in laws...so i broke down and asked her her recipe and she told me it was the snow white buttercream off of wiltons.com. it calls for corn syrup and i have none on hand and wont be able to make it to the store before saturday...can i just omit the corn syrup all together, what will happen if i do?

what is the purpose of the corn syrup? anyone know?

i have been on the nuvaring for a year and ever since i started it, after me and my fiance have sex and i go to pee, it burns like a mother******. my doctor told me i could take it out during sex and put it right back in as long as it is within 3 hrs. well i tried that and afterards when i went pee it didnt burn at all. so we did this for a few times but then we decided that i should just stop it all together. so i stopped my nuvaring on a thursday and we had unprotected sex on that friday. then on sunday i realized that friday i was at my peak ovulation. (highest chance of fertility) with that being said, since it was only a day after i took out my ring, can i still get pregnant?
