  • Someone stole my phone: What's next?

My phone was recently stolen at a robotics competition this weekend in St. Louis. I tried to track it using the anti-theft software installed on the phone, but i had no luck. Today when i got home i activated a new phone i had and received a call from a number i did not know. He told me that he got a call from my number yesterday (when the phone was stolen) and was just returning it. He told me he knew who called so i asked for more information. he dodged my questions and then hung up on me. My question now is: what do i do? do i get the police involved or do i simply give up? what are my options and what are my rights?

  • Asus G75vw VS ibuypower Valkyrie Cz-17?

Trying to pick out a gaming laptop for my Christmas present to myself, but I find myself really on the fence about which one i should get. I plan to get relatively the same ram in both, but the CZ-17 will have a 4G video card as opposed to the G75vw's 2G. Also both will have 1 SSD and one data hard drive. Any other things i should be considering? This will be used as not only gaming laptop but also as a personal laptop for college classes.

  • How to get more Horsepower out of my car?

I have a 1994 toyota corolla DX, and the only problem wit it is from 0-30, it has all the power in the world, but even just going up hills, or at higher speeds, the engine just has no power. Whats the cheapest way to give the engine a little pick-me-up, without breaking the bank?

  • Why are my dashboard lights not coming on?

I have a 1994 toyota corolla DX, and just recently replaced the stock stereo. I had no wiring diagram so we had to test each speaker as we hooked them up. We knew what we were doing, having done it many times before. We check all the stock wires in the pins to find the ground and the constants and so forth. After we got the whole thing assembled there seemed to be no problems. Tonight, when i turned the lights on in my car, i found that the lights on the dash, shifter, AC, and other misc. parts, were not illuminating. Upon further investigation i found this( http://www.modifiedlife.com/1994-toyota-camry-car-... ) which showed me which wires were which. with the two extra wires we had ( an extra ground (white with a green stripe i believe) and a green wire (stereo dimmer). We attached the two together and i think this may be the problem. Upon opening up the dimmer switch area to find why it wasn't working i found three wires. A green, a white with green stripe, and a white with black stripe. any information you have would be much appreciated.

  • Do propane tanks have valve systems?

My friend and I are building a rubens tube. We are wondering if there is some kind of system to stop the flames from backing up into the tank as we turn it off.
