I'm using a Dell Optiplex 960 SFF. The original keyboard stopped working after some liquid spilled on it. I picked up a used Dell keyboard at a thrift shop. It has a USB plug. It works fine when plugged into one of the USB ports. The old one had a PS/2 plug. I picked up a USB to PS/2 adapter. The computer won't recognize it. Thought it might be a bad adapter, so I plugged an old USB mouse into the mouse port using the adapter, and that works fine. Why won't the keyboard work through the adapter but it's fine in one of my few USB ports?

1 AnswerCameras5 years agoAnyone else out there that's fed up with HP all in one printers?
My Officejet 6500 is constantly telling me it's out of paper but it's not. I tried all of the different ways of resetting it that the HP website says to do, as well as cleaning the damn thing, and nothing works. Not only that, but nothing ever prints out like the print preview leads you to believe. Too much paper gets wasted by the trial and error process to get the result that I want. On top of that, the ink is ridiculously priced. Not only are their computers junk but their printers are even worse. I guess I'm done venting now. Happy New Year!
