  • Would the UV rays affect my tattoo even if it is cloudy?

    Hello,

I know it is not good for a new tattoo to come into contact with direct sunlight. Should I keep the new tattoo covered even if I go outside on a cloudy day? Would the UV rays affect my tattoo even if it is cloudy?

    Thanks!

  • Can I exercise after a new tattoo?

    Hello,

My husband got a new tattoo two weeks ago. We read on the internet that you should not exercise two weeks after you got a new tattoo. Does skateboarding (commuting, some ollies, jumping) or bicycling fall in the same category?

One tattoo is on the wrist and one tattoo is on the arm.

    Thank you!

  • Put lotion on a new tattoo after shower?

    Hello,

My husband got a new tattoo last Wednesday. He has been taking care of his new tattoo very well. He has been waiting 15 minutes after shower to rub on the lotion. I would like to know if it is necessary to wait 15 minutes after the shower to rub on the lotion? OR immediately after the skin is dry.

    Thank you very much!

  • Can long driving affect a tattoo?

My husband is driving from Portland OR to New York City. He has two healed tattoos. Would this long drive affect the ink? The whole drive being bumpy and vibrating, would it affect the tattoos in any way? Thanks!

  • Could anything have happened to my new tattoo?

This is a continuation of a question I asked earlier.

I had sex around 9 days after I got a new chest tattoo. I was on top and my chest kept rubbing against my partner's (we both had our t-shirts on. Could it have caused more friction? ) Could the tattoo have been affected by the friction? (for example, ink smudging, ink being drawn out or anything else? )

There was no sweating involved. It was normal paced sex.

    Thank you.

  • What is the best tattoo aftercare method in this situation?

    Hello,

Many tattoo artists say to wait a few days or even up to a week or two weeks before exercising or working out after getting a new tattoo. Does sex count as an exercises or workout that should be avoided during this period also?

    Thanks

  • A new tattoo, medication and exercising?

    Hello,

I got a new tattoo two weeks ago. Mistakenly I brushed my teeth using my wife's toothbrush while she was under treatment for yeast infection (external cream). I read on the internet that the cream for yeast infection is absorbed in the blood stream. So, by brushing my teeth using her brush, is it possible for the medication to get into my blood stream and affect my tattoo?

Does the blood stream have any interaction with the tattoo?

Also, is having sex considered as an exercise? Some tattoo artists recommend to start exercise after two weeks of healing. Would it be all right to have sex before the two weeks healing process?

    Thanks very much!

  • Should toddlers and infants feet be cold at any time of the year?

    Hello,

My mother in law said that feet should always be cold. We live in an apartment that does not have carper, just flooring and in the winter is very cold. I am used to wear socks inside the house to keep my feet warm and I believe my children should also wear socks during the winter time for their health.

    I need your advice! Thanks!

  • My son doesn't speak well yet (3 years old).?

Hello. We lived in Japan for more than 2 years. We speak with our son in English, but he just started talking more now, at the age of three. Is it a problem that he doesn't speak well yet?

I have had some problems with my husbans and thought of returning to my own country where a different language than English and Japanese is spoken. My son has never ever heard it, just until the age of 5 months. If I take him there, and stay for one year, for example, will it delay his speach? Will it have a strong inpact on his development?

    Please help!

    Thank you!

  • Is it unhealthy to wash your hair more than once a day?

Many people say that it is bad to wash your hair more than once a day. Does this mean washing with shampoo? Because I shampoo every other day, but wash my hair with just water every morning and night. Is this healthy?

  • How to make my 3 years old son to eat?

    Hi,

My son is 3 years old and I have a very big problem: he does not want to eat. He eats only carbohydrates. Meat & vegetables he hates.

I tried hiding small pieces of vegetables in pasta, meat in rice...but as soon as he finds them, he wont eat it again... he would rather drink milk or eat yogurt with jam...

I am very worried about his health and his growth.

    I would appreciate your advice!

    Thank you!
