say instead of saddling us with a trillion dollar stimulus,he gave each American citizen one million dollars,cheaper by far really,,what would you have spent the money on,and by doing so what part of our growth would you have affected or helped?

for me I would have bought a home,car and banked the rest for my old age,I would have affected the housing and car industry not by much I know but still....

There is a re-make on the horizon it is called True Grit and is being done by the Cohen brothers who I actually like.

My problem is that they took a movie that everyone loves and made it so hard for the actor to fill those shoes.Jeff Bridges is a good actor but he will never fill John Wayne's shoes I say this because it is just the facts no matter how good this movie is or how much closer to the book it is everyone will still see John Wayne and that is not good for the actor re creating the role.Sorry its just true John wayne could stand in a corner and everyone would notice him he had major swagger a man,s man,and not many came close to touching him.Agree or disagree??

MSNBC has suspended Olberman indefinately for doanteing to three diffrent democratic campigns one of them being Conways in kentucky,,loving that Bias.it was agianst his contract and he got caught,seems to me if the man was a smart as everyone thought he would have used a third party and paid in cash,do you think he should have been suspended even though it was clearly in his contract not to do this?

Everything I have seen and heard about this series sounds great!those that have been lucky enough to see the first episode say's this movie will not disappoint,so who's watching it?

Block-I chant portrays ‘neither patriotism nor remembrance’

The vast majority of 9/11 observances in this country cannot be seen as politically neutral events. Implicit in their nature are the notions that lives lost at the World Trade Center are more valuable than lives lost in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine and elsewhere; that the motives of the 9/11 attackers had nothing to do with genuine grievances in the Islamic world regarding American imperialism; and that the U.S. has been justified in the subsequent killing of hundreds of thousands in so-called retaliation.

The observance at Saturday’s football game was no different. A moment of silence was followed by a military airplane flyover; in between, Block-I students chanted “USA, USA.” This was neither patriotism nor remembrance in any justifiable sense, but politicization, militarism, propaganda and bellicosity. The University is a public institution that encompasses the political views of all, not just the most (falsely) “patriotic.” Athletic planners should cease such exploitation for political purposes. They might at least consider how most Muslim students, American or otherwise, would respond to this nativist display; or better, Muslims and others that live their lives under the threat of our planes, drones and soldiers.

The overwhelmingly white, privileged, Block-I students should be ashamed of their obnoxious, fake-macho, chicken-hawk chant, while poverty-drafted members of their cohort fight and die in illegal and immoral wars for the control of oil. University administrators need to eliminate from all events such “patriotic” observances, which in this country cannot be separated from implicit justifications for state-sponsored killing.

I just think why are,nt they just blowing it to cave in the hole,not like they cannot redrill.and if they do should we worry about the oil and natrual gas pouring from it?

I,m 49,and having a tougher time than when I was younger I am doing a diet of raw veggies fruit lots of water try to keep my calorie intake below 1200 am I suppose to burn more than I take in or half what I take in???I have been able to burn more calories than my intake by walking is this a right way to go??
