How do I install a new valve cover stud(bolt/screw/double end threaded rod) to replace the one I snapped and already removed?
This is how my valve cover bolts work: "Technically this is not a "bottoming" capscrew which implies the threaded end reaches the bottom of its hole. It is a shouldered capscrew where the unthreaded shank is a larger OD than the thread section. The capscrew threads into the hole until the shoulder hits the surface of the head, and will go no further short of twisting off the thread section or stripping the threads. Once shouldered the capscrews in unison hold the gaskets and the rubber collars on the capscrews compressed."
I have been having a difficult time getting the rubber to meet the road (getting the screw/bolt to thread into the hole until the shoulder hits the surface of the head) or getting the screw/bolt to go deep enough into the hole to reach the threaded section and grab. Any useful suggestions so I can try again?

What are the part numbers for the RUBBER GEAR SHIFT BUSHINGS/GROMMETS (SHIFTER CABLE BUSHINGS) that go on the end of a 5-speed manual shift 1991 Toyota Corolla DX's shifter linkage(UNDER THE HOOD/UNDER THE AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY)? Please see pictures for reference. I need to replace them and am having a heck of a time finding the CORRECT PART NUMERS FOR THE OEM PART. Thank you in advance.

I am getting nowhere on websites (thus far) and perhaps I am not calling the correct parts department of the right dealership to purchase the parts I require to get my car back on the road. This has been rather frustrating. It would be helpful of the websites I have been on could have a picture like this one: http://cdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp/minkara/note/000/00... but I have yet to see this hence my frustration. I did place an order in person at a dealership but the parts were not the parts pictured here: http://cdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp/minkara/note/000/00...
Perhaps someone who replaced theirs kept the bag or receipt and can supply the number from that. Perhaps someone who works at a Toyota dealership or warehouse can get to the bottom of this. It seems harder than it needs to be for me to get these part(s) (numbers). Please forgive me if I sound brash; I am frustrated, but not angry. I just cannot drive my car if I cannot shift. LOL! Thank you very much.

2 AnswersToyota7 years agoWhat is the proper part number for the mini-usb charging port (or jack) on the HTC EVO V ?
The charging port on a "HTC EVO 4G V" (Virgin Mobile version) needs to be replaced due to damage. What is the correct charging port part number? Thank you. http://www.virginmobileusa.com/_img/_phones/htcevo...
and http://www.virginmobileusa.com/shop/cell-phones/ht... for pictures. Thank You !!! (not affiliated with Virgin Mobile in any way. I am just providing links to pictures to ensure I get the correct part number because there are various versions of this phone and I'd hate to order an incorrect part and have to send it back and reorder, etc. Thank you for your understanding.)
