How do I reinvest in Oppenheimer Funds?
Over the years, while I was in college, I withdrew much of my Oppenheimer funds to help with school and expenses. Now that I have a stable job, how do I reinvest? Keep in mind, I pretty much exhausted most of the funds.

2 AnswersInvesting8 years agoDodge Magnum doesnt pick up speed like it used to. Transmission?
I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum, 3.5L V6. Yesterday, while driving it on the highway, I kinda felt/heard a "thud" underneath the front of the car. Since then, it seems as though the car doesn't pick up like it used to. I'm finding myself pressing down on the gas just to go about 40 mph. The RPM meter is also jumps from 2 to 4, car kinda jerks, and finally picks up speed eventually. Is this a transmission slipping? Time for a tune up? Or do I have to replace the trans? And what would you say repairs will cost?
Serious answers only please. I wanna have an idea of what's wrong and cost before I take it to a shop. I don't wanna get ripped off.
Thanks! :-)

2 AnswersDodge8 years agoPantry moths in new apartment! Help!?!?
We had a infestation with pantry moths in our old apartment. Later we found out the tenants before us had the same problem. I tried everything to get rid of them... moth pheromone traps, sealing all food products in ziplocks, etc.... It was terrible!!! We finally moved last Oct to a new apartment. I wiped everything down with a vinegar solution and inspected everything before moving anything into my new home. I didn't bring any food items into my new apartment unless they were refrigerated or sealed (which I also inspected)... Imagine, all the food I threw out! :-(...
We'll here we are 3 months later in January and I'm starting to find a couple here and there flying around! I hope our new house doesn't get contaminated. This is terrible. Anything I can do to stop them?
Please keep in mind that I am pregnant and have a 2 year old... So I think any type of chemical treatments would be our last resort.
Please help us out! Thanks!
4 AnswersOther - Home & Garden8 years agoI cooked seafood soup at noon. If I leave it on the stovetop, will it be safe for dinner?
I finished cooking seafood soup at noon. It contains shrimp, clams, crab legs, and catfish (veggies too). Can I leave it on the stove top until dinner time? Around 7-8 pm? Also, whats the best way to store this soup for tomorrows leftovers?
2 AnswersCooking & Recipes8 years agoMechanic is ripping me off... What should I do next?
My car died out on me after work at 3am and my only option was to push it to a nearby mechanic shop. The next day, they replaced the alternator (they said the other one wasn't holding enough voltage). They said that the alternator has a "lifetime guarantee." Exactly a week later, the car dies out on me on the highway near my home. I have two choices; tow the car back to the shop ($150) or tow it to a closer mechanic ($40). Keep in mind it's 11pm and I'm traveling with my 1 year old baby. I decided to go with a closer mechanic. They said the replaced alternator was also not holding enough voltage and will keep failing. So they replaced the alternator, battery cables, and alternator cable.
Here's where it gets rough:
When I went back to the original shop. They said they cannot refund neither the labor or the not working alternator. I said I had a "lifetime guarantee." Which they said I voided by taking it to another shop. They never mentioned that to me from the beginning. I can understand if the labor isn't refundable but REALLY? A part that doesn't work? After much complaint, they just would not budge.
I don't know who is right or wrong? I think it's just really bad business. Can I report them somewhere?
5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoMy car hasn't been driven in 2 years! Advice please?
Hi. My car has been out of commission for about 2 years now because it needed a new engine. I finally got that taken care of and would like to get back to driving it. Besides new city sticker, plate sticker, insurance, oil change, etc... What else would be some things to take care of before I start driving it again?
Thanks!
4 AnswersInsurance & Registration8 years agoReplaced Engine. Starts up but won't drive over 40 mph.?
Hi. I recently replaced my 2006 Dodge Magnum Engine. Originally, the engine locked so it needed a replacing. Mechanics claim the transmission may have been the cause of the engine locking. Wanted a second opinion so I paid for the engine repair and now the car is still sitting in the garage until I save enough cash to take care of it. The car won't drive over 40 mph. I've heard different opinions from I need a new transmission, solenoid is bad, and wiring problem. I've been kinda taken advantage of in the past by mechanics so I'm kinda skeptical as to what's going on. HELP!
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoReplaced engine. Was advised to replace engine computer. Which computer?
Hi. I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum that has a replaced engine. The new engine is actually an interchange of a 2006 Chrysler 300. I know it's advisable to replace the engine computer also. Would I be searching for a Chrysler 300 or Dodge Magnum engine computer?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoCar keeps dying out. New battery. Alternator bad? Something else?
Hello.
I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Galant. The light was left on. I was able to start up the car, drove for about 10 minutes, and it died out. I was able to jump start it and recharge battery from other car for about 5 minutes. Drove about 3 minutes and it died again. Next morning, took it to the repair shop where they recharged it, they said battery seemed fine and ran car for about an hour and didn't die out. Repair shop said if it dies again, battery may be bad (cannot hold a charge). Seemed okay. Seemed fine, until I started driving it.
Died out about 30 minutes later. Took the battery back to Auto Zone and they replaced it with new one (it was under warranty). I was able to drive the car about an hour or more and it died again.
This is what seems to be happening:
1.) Interior lights; dash, radio, etc. start to dim
2.) Seems to dim mainly when stopped or breaking; brightens up when pressing gas
3.) When turned off, won't start back up unless jumped.
4.) There seems to be a clicking noise coming from near the glove box when I try to start.
Battery is now new so I'm unsure if that's the problem. Could it be the alternator? Or something else.
Thanks! Advice is appreciated. :-)
8 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoPossible Identity Theft? But I've never seen info for account.?
I've recently have been receiving phone calls from a collection agency attempting to collect a debt for US Cellular. I've never owned or opened a US Cellular account. They have my correct information (Name, Birth Date, and SSN) except for the address. I'm pretty good at keeping up with my credit accounts and scores and I've never seen this reported on any of my credit report statements. Is there something going on? Identity Theft? A mistake?
2 AnswersSecurity8 years agoIs an oppenheimer redemption withdrawn from investment or value?
I'd like to withdrawal some money from my oppenheimer fund to help pay for college. When withdrawing, is the money taken from the "investment" or "value"? The value is always a larger amount than the investment. I'm able to do this online through Account Link but I'm unsure how much money is available for withdrawal. For instance, if I want $3,000 but my investment is $2,750 and my value is $6,500, which one is available for withdrawal?
1 AnswerInvesting9 years agoI cooked seafood soups 12+ hours ago. Is it spoiled?
I cooked seafood soup over 12 hours ago. When it was done cooking, I turned the pot off, closed the lid and ran some errands. I didnt refrigerate because it was still hot. When I came back (12+ hrs later) the soup had a layer of foam or bubbles on the top and a odd smell (not just seafood-y). I wanted to serve it for dinner but cooked it this morning. Is this normal? Is it spoiled?
4 AnswersEthnic Cuisine10 years agoDo you have to be behind to receive LIHEAP?
Hello. I'm planning on applying for LIHEAP when the applications open up Oct 1, 2011. I'm pregnant now, but by then my baby would be born -qualifying us for children under 5 requirements. So far, I receive medical card, food stamps, and cash benefits. So I'm pretty sure my application will be accepted. But, do you have to be behind on your utility bill to receive these grants?

4 AnswersEtiquette10 years agoHow can I expunge or seal an arrest record in Cook County, Chicago, IL?
I was arrested on some really bogus charges (which also happened to be a felony) last year. After spending some time in good old Cook County Jail, I was released and followed up with the court proceedings. I was not convicted and the charges were dropped. Is there anyway to expunge or seal my arrest record? I'm a full time college student who never gets into trouble and I think this will get in the way of future job opportunities. Plus, I'm super broke. Is there a free of charge way to do this?
3 AnswersChicago1 decade agoMy bf was arrested for a Battery (Class A Misdemeanor). What's the worst that can happen?
My bf was arrested at his Christmas party last year. He was outrageously WASTED and completely blacked out. He just woke up to find out he's detained in a police station. After a few hours he was let out and picked up by AN ANGRY me. Now, he has to go to court but doesn't even recall what even happened that night. The charges are a Class A Misdemeanor - Battery. What is the worst that can happen? He's willing to apologize to the man he supposedly got into a fight with and also take some alcohol counseling. Please give us some insight. Thanks!

3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHELP!!! I gave my boyfriend a yeast infection! Any suggestions?
I was on a high dose of antibiotics for a few days and developed a yeast infection. This isn't the first time this has happen to me so I was prepared to use yeast infection over-the-counter treatment. The cream is Clotrimazole 2%. Over that period of time when I didn't think the yeast infection was in full effect I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. NOW, he's developed symptoms of a yeast infection. I feel like I'm all healed up BUT now he burning sensations on the head of his penis, white discharge, and really red. I kinda think this also has something to do with him not being circumsized. I highly doubt this is a STD (so I'd appreciate no joke answers, I WILL report you) because I was just recently screened and came out just fine. The real quesiton is we've both applied the Clotrimazole cream and it seems to be working for me but not for him. I had my infection for about 5 days. And he's had his for about 3. Any suggestions?
8 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoHelp! I'm having problems Rebooting Dell OptiPlex GX270.?
My little sis got a TROJAN virus in her Dell OptiPlex GX270. She didn't have spyware or an anti-virus program. But before the computer completely crashed she said there were pop-ups claiming she has a TROJAN. I would like to reboot the entire computer system but I'm having a problem. I have the Windows XP disk and drivers available. I start the computer up with the Windows XP disk already in the CD/DVD drive. At the dell start up screen I press the F12 button to get to the "Boot Device Menu." The choices I am given are:
1. Normal
2. Diskette Drive
3. IDE CD-ROM Device
4. System Setup
5. IDE Drive Diagnostics
6. Boot to Utility Partition
I've tried entering all choices yet I get the response message...
Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility.
I've tried the F1 key and the message is repetitive.
I'd like to just reboot the whole system to clear EVERYTHING out and start from scratch. Any help?
(I don't think I can contact Dell Customer Support because the computer was a hand me down. But, the service tag sticker and Windows XP stickers are still available.)
2 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoIs there something wrong with my Dodge Magnum Engine?
So, my husband forgot to get an oil change on my 06 Dodge Magnum. It has 100,000 miles and had the last oil change 3 months ago. While driving I noticed the car engine making and odd, kinda on/off noise (hard to describe). Kinda also seemed like my engine was slowing. I pulled over and called my husband to bring some oil. We put 3 quarts into the car and I attempted to start it. It started up after I also had to press the gas. Now, I noticed that everytime I break or when I'm stopped the engine slows or dies completely. When I'm pressing the gas the engine works fine yet creates a white smoke from the hood. Also, it seems like while I'm stopped the breaks get a little harder. Whats going on?
