My birthday is coming up and I know my husband is debating on which 2 items he should get me. One of the choices would be an ipad 2. The ipad looks real cool and nice. im a first time mother and will start potty training him this week.

my son is 18 months today and his ped advice me to start potty training him now. i was told i had to wait till he was 24 months but ive decided to listen to his pediatrician. ive been looking online at different potty seats. even though i really like the musical ones im afraid he will want to play with the musical potty instead of actually using it. but then again it can also encourage him. therefore i wanted to read other parents experience to see what was better for other toddlers out there. MUSICAL POTTY SEATS VS. NON-MUSICAL POTTY SEATS!!!!!!!!

my son is 13 month and only wants to drink from his bottle. i've been told he should start drinking from a Zippy cup or should i still wait? every time i hand it to him, he throws it. what can i do so he can start trying Zippy cups?

my son is turning the big one in less than 2 weeks. i've been told i should start thinking about switching him from his goodstart formula to normal gallon milk. as a first time mom, i don't know what steps i should take toward doing this. any advice? thanks!

I have a 9 month old baby and I want to go back to school. Before him I was going to college for social work. I don’t want to major in that anymore since it’s about 6 yrs. And I only completed a yr and a half. I work as a secretary now but I don’t want to stay here forever. Does anyone know of a career that doesn’t take a lot of years? I just can’t go back to what I was majoring w/ a baby and a full time job. I just couldn’t be without him for so long. Are there any mommies out there that did a short career and are getting paid good? I do get paid good where I am now, but I just want more!

my son is sick and i bought him a humidifier but it seems to not be working. i also saw a Vick's vaporizer at the store and was wondering if maybe i would've got that one instead. which one do you think works better for a cold? my 9 month old is very congested. he cant eat or sleep because he's breathing by his mouth since his nose is full of mucus. ive used saline drops and nothing has worked.

My son is 9 months old. he's had a cold since last week wednesday. he has a runny and congested nose which makes it hard for him to eat, breath, and sleep. i bought a cool mist humidifier. ive been using it since friday and it says its suppose to help w/ the congestion but it hasn't. ive never used this machine before. i fill it to the maximum line w/ water. my question is... should the water decrease (evaporate) when using it? the longest time ive used it is 20 hrs straight and when i turn off the water is still in the same line. is this ok? im thinking about going in to Walgreen's and change the machine. what type of machine do you use when your kids are sick?
