  • Acer Aspire 5315 Laptop Question?

    I got a blue error screen yesterday. I didn't read what it said in time before it shut down. I restarted the computer today and it acts like it is running. fans are going, "Power Indicator" light is on. Battery power is fine . . . Only there is nothing on the screen . . . I opened the CD-ROM nd stuck a recovery CD in there, and I can hear the computer running. But nothing on the screen. Can anyone help me? Oh, I called ACER. They won't help me because I purchased it in March 2008.

    So - The screen is black. Can't reboot and choose Safe mode. Nothing is on the screen . . . also it is not the brightness level, in sleep mode, or set to an external monitor.
