  • free website counter?

I have a website and i would like a counter that says how many people are online right now. Right now i'm using the live/active cart to see who's online and that's not reliable. I want to make sure I am getting something for paying for advertising.

  • Looking for a good website to search for rental houses?

Last time we found a house we used a great website, but I can no longer find it. It used a map and showed on the map where the houses were located. If I can't use that site I would like to have any other suggestions for sites. We like to see photos of the house. Right now we are using mainly Craigslist, but you have to sift through scammers. We have one realtor website that we use as well, but there hasn't been many additions for the last month. I'm mainly using the search engines, but I want to find a site where there is an average amount of activity.

  • Why is the price of cooking oil (corn, vegetable, canola) going up?

Has anyone else noticed the price for cooking oil going up and I was wondering why especially when gas prices have gone down? I went to buy some corn oil and we first looked at walgreens (trying to avoid the walmart crowd) and it was a small bottle for $4.50 for Crisco vegetable. I decided to go to Sweetbay instead. I had a coupon for Crisco or Mazola and it was around $4.50 for the regular size bottle. I bought the store brand for $3.70. We usually pay around $2. My hubby went to Walmart yesterday and said it was around the same as Sweetbay.

I am use to prices going up, but I thought it was a strange time to raise them when prices are coming back down a little bit. I tried googling but couldn't find anything. I wanted to know if anyone else noticed.

  • Hungarian plant/seed/herb?

I am looking for an answer for a friend. She says: I am looking for a herb, seed or plant and and it is called jonseed (sp?) or we have always called it soup green. It is a Hungarian thing that my family has always used and the last plant never came up this year.

    Anyone know?
