  • Front facing carseat in a front seat of a classic?

We recently bought a '66 mustang. Our 3 1/2 year old has been begging for a spin, previous owners installed seat belts in the front seat, needless to say the car doesnt have airbags. So I was just wondering if it is illegal to place a front facing carseat in the front seat? Since the backseat doesnt have seatbelts. It wouldn't be for longer than 10 mins aroud our neighborhood but im still curious

  • What to plant in south Louisiana this time of the year?

I recently got a part of the yard clean of weeds... we haven't been long in the house and it was previously foreclosed for a couple years. I took all the weeds out... spray round up a couple days ago... It seemed like someone had flowers there before... I wanna know if there is any flower or nice "bush" that doesn't get too tall to grow here in south louisiana during this time of the year??? THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!

  • Dilemma about raising a nephew...?

My sister in law works at a bar and she has a 14 year old recently he has gotten in trouble a lot... mainly when he stays to sleep at friends houses. He stays alone a lot and she cant really afford a babysitter and he is too old for that anyway he is also having trouble in school and my husband proposed to me to ask her to keep him for a while. Our school system is much better than the one over there where she lives and i stay at home so i will be able to keep an eye on him there are a few kids his age around here and they all really good kids they come and cut my grass for a few buck cuz they where bored during summer. I dont mind the whole thing at all he is a great help when he stay over during the weekend sometimes but i dont know how to approach my sister in law about it... i cant tell her : hey you are doing a sloppy job so can he come over for a few months? She is doing all she can but she is a single mother with 2 jobs and going to college. Any ideas how to ask her? or i shouldnt even try?

She lives about an hour and a half away so watching him while she works is not really an option

  • am i pregnant? lol i hate when ppl ask this but im curious?

Im a mom to a 14 month old and my first pregnancy what awesome, i had craving and swollen feet towards the end of it but aside from that i never had nausea nor vomiting or pain anything at all. i actually didn't know i was pregnant until i was 4 months along because im so irregular. My period is due any day now but Im really tired, i feel sick, my body hurts i have a horrible headache and im not hungry at all. I don't know whats going on, i though i might be coming down with a flu but it has been about a week and no other signs appear nor ive gotten any better. We don't really use protection other than pull out... but i know is not really a method when i became pregnant for first time i tried for a year before i got pregnant and we just recently started to have unprotected sex again. We would happily welcome a second baby but you think im pregnant ??

my breast have been tender for a few days too

  • please help! i think im ready to have another child but should we adopt?

my son is almost 14 months and i think you could have another one im ready for the challenge and we can afford it... absolutely. We cared for my nephew for a while sometime ago and we love him just as he was our 2nd son and i think there are so many kids in need of a good home.

In my family there are 4 grandchildren and they all are boys so i think that we could give good home to a little girl maybe even my sons age... do you think that adopting would be a better way to go for us? We would try to adopt from foster care rather than an adoption agency.

my husband says to be ready for a baby also.

    any advice ? thank you!

  • Do you worry about your husband having more hobbies that you can afford?

my husband is an outdoors person ... very much so. he loves dirt bikes so we bought one... and he don't really use it. He loves sports so the 50 inch flat screen tv was a must... of course we use the tv but most of the weekends when there are more sports on we are away in a camp for him to fish (we share the rent with his parents) and now he is looking to buy a 20,000+ dollars boat for his hobby. He loves guns so this weekend he went and got him a new gun because the gun show was in town. he loves trucks so he recently use the tax return check to get him one which is ok, i don't mind him buying stuff we can all use as the boat and the truck maybe even the tv but im starting to feel resentful because he spends all this money and i don't really get anything i want, i have everything i need and so does my son but not a lot of what we want. When you see that look, like when he saw the gun i just cant tell him not to buy it... he is so excited about it and i don't have the heart to tell him no.... we don't owe anything everything we have we own it but im worried that all his hobbies are just too expensive to afford them all. Any suggestions?

i do everything i can... we go fishing even if i have to stay with my son in the heat all day just for him to fish and i try saving money so he can get a better boat but inm getting tired of not winding up a little myself i really need some advice!

  • i need some help with family problems?

my husband's step sister and i had a phone fight a while back she said she was gonna beat me up and i told her i was waiting for her with the police by my front door... is a long story for how it got that bad... anyway i hate coming to reunions at my mother in law house because she is occasionally invited, She is my mother in law's step daughter and they are not that close she is invited so we can see her son. Saturday my mother in law is planning a get together and she is invited, I don't want to be rude and say ; if she goes i don't but i really feel uncomfortable with her around... and she has been convicted of about 10 crimes and one of them was beating some ppl up and sending them to the hospital... im not scared i know how to defend myself but i don't want to put up a show at my mother in law's house. Im very polite and nice and it takes a lot to make blow up but she has gotten there before and i don't want that. My hubby don't care ( he actually tries to avoid get together) if i tell him we are going to the mall instead and stopping at the atv store on the way back he would be happy . I guess the question is : should we go and be uncomfortable and risk putting up a show or tell my mother in law why we are not going or just not go and don't say anything? please help me

I already ask last night but i had little response so please answer!
