My husband and I are considering a separation. He cites I am lazy and fat (I have gained about 30 pounds in the past year - after losing my job of 11 years). He told me that he has someone he wants to pursue a relationship with, but she needs to hear from me we are done. Three days later, he told me he wants to work things out for our kids.

Keep in mind, he said some very harsh things to me (he can't stand being around me, doesn't want to go anywhere with me, doesn't like sharing a bed or being faithful). However, my main issue is the other woman. I want to talk to her. I feel like if there's any chance of saving our marraige, I need to talk to her and that she cannot be in his life ever again.

He won't even give me a name. He said she was just someone to talk to and there was no affair. Am I wrong to want her name and/or to talk to her? I dont' feel like I can trust him. He seems more committed to keeping her identity a secret than to me. I feel like he's stringing us both along.

If he wants to leave me, that is fine. I can support my kids and myself without his help. I think I'd be a happier person, too. But, just like him - I don't want to put the kids through a divorce. But even more so, I don't want to stay together JUST for the kids.

My boyfriend and I live together, but he owns the house. I don't know how the interest he pays towards the mortgage each year affects his return, but it does. My question is this: does he have to file Head of Household to involve this interest paid in his return? Can he file a 1040 as single and still claim whatever it is about the interest? (I'm filing HOH b/c I make more).

I'm 31, 160 lbs and a non-smoker. I've been having regular pains under my left breast for about a year. I realize I need to see a doctor, and I'm working on getting that in order, but I was wondering if any of you have experienced anything like this, and what was your experience? It feels like I have a bruise under my left breast. My left shoulder hurts off & on. It's not as consistent as the weird chest sensation.

I'm frying some chicken tonight & don't have a package of gravy mix. I don't want to go to the store, either. I think I have everything I need to make gravy - except the knowledge of how to make it. Please enlighten me.

BTW - My mom makes great gravy, but she uses the grease from the chicken. I'd rather not do that. I'd probably mess it up.

My daughter is 3 and hasn't pooped in a little over a week, with the exception of last Friday, when stool was (kind of) removed from her. (Don't ask about that - my MIL did it & I wasn't there). I have tried several home remedies for constipation, but nothing has worked. Last night, I gave her a liquid glycerin suppository. I could tell she was having stomach cramps, but she wouldn't go. I plan on giving another suppository tonight. I hope this works, but what if it doesn't? I have already scheduled her an appointment with the doctor tomorrow morning, just in case she doesn't go today. Has anyone been through this? What worked for you little one?

I took my 3 year old with me to a baby shower Sunday. The woman who lives there has a very skiddish/nervous mini dashound (weenie dog). My daughter wanted to play with the dog, but I kept telling her to leave the dog alone. There were about 30 people at the shower, and the little dog was kicked and almost stepped on many, many times. However, the dog was still roaming freely in the house. While the guest of honor was opening gifts, something I did not see happened w/ my daughter and the dog. I only heard my daughter screaming. I rushed to her & took her to the other room, where I saw the dog had either scratched or bitten my daughter's face, right above her eye. I bandaged it up and treated the wound with neosporin. There was a nurse at the shower and she said stitches were not necessary.

The next day, I asked my friend if her dog was current on her shots/vaccines. My friend said she had never taken that dog in for shots before. The dog wondered into her back yard a couple months ago & she kept it. Since the dog didn't have shots, I took my daughter to the doctor. I didn't take her for fear of rabies, I took her because I don't want the wound to get infected. The doctor agreed with me and Rx'd 2 strong antibiotics. When a patient is seen for a dog bite, it is mandatory that the bite be reported to animal control. So I did. If I hadn't, the doctor would have.

My friend is LIVID that her dog has to be quarantined for 10 days. However, if she could show shot records, the quarantine wouldn't be necessary. After the quarantine, the dog has to get shots. My fiance even offered to pay all fees/fines incurred - since these are very close friends of ours.

Because of all this, my friendship with the pet owner has ended. She said I was a psycho mom for even taking her to the doctor. She said normal people don't take kids to the doctor over dog bites. She said the quarantine protocol only applies in the ghetto and that rabies has been eradicated in the US. She also referred to me as dramatic, retarded and mean.

Was I wrong or does she owe me an apology? She doesn't have kids.

The guest list is around 150 and I'm in the Dallas area.

Alcohol - How much does it cost to rent a margarita machine with all the products needed? How much does a keg cost?

Food - I'm planning on buying sandwich trays, fruit & veggie trays, and small appetizers. How much should I expect that to cost?

Decorations - What all do I need, and how much will decor cost? I'm doing my own vases and candle holders for table centerpieces.

Flowers - Aren't these expensive? Is it cheaper to use fake flowers?

I thought planning a wedding would be so much fun, but it stinks! When answering, please keep in mind I have $5000 for the entire wedding. It looks like my venue is going to cost about $3000.

I'm in the Dallas area and am planning a wedding for next May. I cannot find an affordable venue that is not already booked. I'm open to have my wedding just about anywhere. I cannot afford more than $2000 total for the venue - and that includes deposits, liquor license and police officer. I am not a member of any church or organized religion. I have been told the cost is the same in most churches for members and non-members. Anyone know about that? Any info at all on venues is much appreciated!!!! Do people rent out their houses for weddings? Where do I find them? etc...

I'm trying to make my office a little more green - in 2 ways, if possible. I've heard there are companies out there who pay for paper to recycle. Is this true? If so, does anyone know how/where to make this happen in Dallas?

I will have 4 women standing at the alter with me. They all have long hair. Am I being too over-the-top if I tell them to all fix their hair the same way. I want it worn down with loose curls at the end. I will have an up-do.

Another question - these women range in size. Their dress sizes are, relatively: 3, 10, 12 and 22. Is it wrong of my to ask the woman who is a size 22 to try to lose some weight before the wedding? She's my sister. I love her. Regardless of her size, she will be a bridesmaid.

It has been 3 months since the initial payment was made for services, but no services have been provided. Since the initial payment was made, the balance has been paid in full. No paperwork has been drawn up regarding the case. I want to contact someone, but I don't know who. When I asked about just getting a refund so I could find a different lawyer, I was told the refund would take 3 weeks to process. The BBB is a joke, so they're out. Any suggestions?

I'm planning a wedding in November. My fiancee only wants 2 men standing with him. I have 2 sisters, but I don't just want my sisters there, I want my best friends there, too. I'm not very close with my sisters. We're close, we're just not bestfriends.

If I had it my way, my fiancee would find 2 more people to stand with him, but I don't think he wants that. If he only has 2 people, is it wrong for me NOT to ask my sisters to be bridesmaids so my friends can be?

I visited an old movie theater in Carrollton, TX called The Plaza, and I fell in love with it as a wedding venue. While I would really, really, really like to have my wedding there, I want options. I do not want to get married in a church. Does anyone know of any other old movie theaters, like the one in Carrollton? I would also appreciate any other ideas you have. Not sure when the wedding will be yet.
