Have you had experiences where you find yourself being in love with someone you don't want to be in love with for various reason. No matter how many years you have tried to keep them out of thought and mind, it doesn't happen. Even though (thankfully) you don't act on this feeling, it still irks you because you can't get rid of it no matter how hard you try?

What I am really asking is, has anyone ever mastered the art of training themselves on who to fall in love with and who to "fall out of love with" for want of a better expression? If you have some tips on how to channel this feeling or get rid of it, I am very open to hear it. I have already tried telling myself to hate the person instead an it didn't work. Some fresh ideas will help..

Oh, for a better background. This person I am in love with, its not physically around, present in my life, was like my best friend and sort of a "lost love". We just never made it real/get together because of timing, distance and a lot of other reasons (even though we loved each and acknowledged it, at the time), which I concluded it just never was meant to me and I am fine with that.

I have never been to either and for spring break my husband and I would like to take a trip to florida. We can only do either Disney or strictly Universal. We are going to do a vacation package and basically would be in florida for three to four days. I have always wanted to do disney but now I am older I am not sure if I would enjoy it as much. I love thrill rides and from what I hear universal rides are better.

I guess I would really just like to know which do you think will be a better honeymoon/vacation trip FIRST. I will always plan to go the other another time; but for now am stuck in between after reading all the reviews for and against. I like my vacations to be active and I don't want to go disney and not be as active (from what i heard that there are more and better rides at universal?) but at the same time I don't want to go universal and it just feels like an everyday theme park.

In your own view, considering from cost, to wait times, to experience, if you had to do it all over again, which would you do FIRST? Oh we don't have kids and we are in our late 20's and I am quite open to use one of the days to just visiting other places outside the parks.

I am on lost series 4 and I don't feel like watching the rest. Its too much back and forth and some of the stuff is way to mythical and unreal. Felt like i was watching a scifi movie! So if you can just tell me really what the hell that movie was really about and the purpose, I would appreciate it.

I DO NOT want to send a gift registry or I DO account along with our invitations for good reasons. Since I am small I never liked the idea, I just want to send nothing! He however strongly wants to send at least one of the two ideas. I don't want to come across stubborn and not compromise and allow his input, cause he certainly does for me, but with this particular issue I am stuck!

What is the best way to get around this ? Any positive, non destructive to the relationship, ideas?

I am filling out a form right now to submit for my invitation order. I do not plan to have a wedding registry and I don't want to put the word "gift optional" on the invitation either.

Basically I did not want to put anything on the invitation at all. I believe if people want to bring something , they can call and ask or just bring what they feel. I do not want anyone to feel guilty or pressured into bringing a gift or feel bad if they cant when they see a gift registry on the invitation.

However my fiancee and family thinks i should still put something to avoid confusion and repeat of gifts. I still personally strong about my position however I understand their point of view as well.

I heard that aloes is a good healing plant and a remedy for scars on your face. I want to apply the plant gel to my scars on my face; however, I do not know if after applying it, I should wash it off or leave it on? What do you do? How often?

I have had moments where it felt like it just didn't want to move and it slowed down. The needle would say am going 60 miles per hr, but it feels like 40 miles per hr. I drive a honda civic ex sedan 1999. I had two different mechanics checked it out. The first said, it just needed a tune up (including the valve etc) The second mechanic, said it need a catalyic converter and a new transmission. (funny enough, the first time around, he said nothing was wrong with the car lol)

My question is, how do i know which is really which. Do you think, from experience, the tune up will solve the problem, or is it really the converter and transmission? Which should i try and fix first, hoping that's the real problem. Don't want to buy a trasnmission or converter and the tune up could have resovle the issue
