Ford 6.0 Turbo Charged 2003 112,000 K miles Oil has been changed frequently, by Ford Dealers in the U S .....................................

About 1 week ago, the motor was blowing black smoke ( It did appear to smell like un burnt fuel). Minimum at idle, more excessive on acceleration. Motor idle was a little shaky, but not a lot

Before we could get it to the Ford dealer, my wife was driving it and the motor started making a banging sound. She shut it off immediately. After calling friends for help, and running the motor to hear the sound, it was metal on metal ( so they think ) and it's a bang, bang, bang. Not a rubbing sound. It was shut off immediately and towed home.

The next day, she started it for me, there was no banging noise, but this time the smoke was white in color. We shut off immediately and now need assistance. "" PLEASE NOTE I LIVE IN MEXICO AND FINDING A GOOD MECHANIC HERE IS IMPOSSIBLE, BESIDES THE FORD DEALER WHICH IS A 1 HOUR DRIVE ""

Some " mechanics we have talked to think it is the pistons rings and it will only make noise when the motor oil gets hot and thins out . One thinks it is the clamp that holds the connecting rod to the piston, and that is broken. My thought is one of the valves is broken ,or it is the Turbo Charger. I have done as much research as I can to make this question as intelligible as possible so I can get the best help from whoever answers.

My Dell had been unplugged for 3 months, ( prox ) When I was able to get an after market AC adapter, when I use the adapter the battery light flashes :

4 Orange 1 Green ... Rapidly Than a 1.5 second delay than repeats.

When I attempt to power it up with the AC power, the left light and the battery light flash simultaneously. The laptop will not power up with o rwithout the AC adapter.

Has my battery finally gone kaput's ? The unit is about 5 - 6 years old, and I have used the AC supply plugged in 99 % of the time.

Any suggestions ?? Thanks in advance !

My wife an and I own a struggling , yet profitable business when managed correctly.We pay ourselves a allowance to live a normal life ( ex : food, pets, utilities, cigarettes, etc.. ) Note ! Cigarettes are about 20 % of our personal budget.

When our allowance runs out is it proper to get into the business reserves to buy non-emergency things, at times leaving us short of buying supplies for the business.

Is it customary for spouse's and or business owners to discuss, in advance any financial decisions that need to be made, when the time is applicable, of course. Not during an emergency crisis that has to be now.

Is it healthy in a marriage, to use funds we do not have to care for a child with a mild cold, where her parents do not plan ahead for a rainy day. Busy buying beer, does not work, etc...

Is it correct that wedding vows mean to care for your spouse's needs and concerns before the needs of others? Now, extreme emergencies regarding life and death of course have to be considered here.

When one is suffering from depression, because of the others actions and the other still continues those actions, is tha trepsecting your spouse?

Is it normal for a 53 year old to be concerned about having money till retirement and then after.

If one of the spouses knowing the others concerns and still spends money on non-essential things, even after they say they will not do it again, is this a logical reason for there to be anger and mistrust in a marriage?

We live in Mexico, where our business is located. One of us is a born US citizen. The other, a permanent resident.

We disagree tremedously on the above issues, and there are more. For the US resident, it would be difficult, not impossible though to move back to the US, they sold there house and all to move to Mexico, and all of there investment s are in Mexico.

Out of fairness, I will not announce which is for which. Our marriage is in deep ruins because of this.

Need help please ! The seals were replaced in a 4 x 4 transmission for above.The truck now overheats after driving maybe 3 - 4 miles ( prox ) and the result is maximum speed of 10 MPH ( prox ) there after till the truck is turned off and cools awhile.

We have had an electronic diagnostic completed which found it is nothing electric.

Also note the truck does have an external transmission fluid cooler which has not been cleaned and supposedly the torque converter was also rebuilt. The transfer case was also rebuilt.

Starting from a dead stop in Drive or Reverse much more power is needed to be applied to the accelerator to get the vehilce moving. It feels as if the gears are not sycronized or there is a bit of slippage before the gears connect ?? The best determination I can give.

I live in Mexico, where the service is being performed and do not know the competence of the mechanics doing the work. We are being told the truck is heavy and this is the problem. The mechanics can not rationalize it worked fine till the seals were replaced. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance !

I use excel daily with formulas calculated to other cells. I most cases the destination cell will show 0 till I input data to the original cell. In this case I haave destination cells that appear empty till I enter data in the original cell.

The formulas appear the same in both. How can I format a cell with a formula where nothing appears till I input data in the original ?
