My son has a Border Collie mix, 5 months old. She lost some of her baby teeth and an adult tooth replaced in shortly. I was at my orthopedist yesterday. He drained 40 units of fluid from my knee. The Xrays showed very little cartilage in my knee. Before going for total knee replacement the Dr. wants to insert gel into the joint. 3 injections, 2 weeks apart. beginning in 2 weeks as long as I don't have any fluid build up in the knee. Has anyone ever had the injections? Did it work? How often do they have to repeat it.
