I own one Yahoo! group and moderate another. On a couple of occasions within each one, posts have been successfully made by non-members. Determining how that's accomplished is the first step in stopping it from happening in the future. Since hacking isn't my forte, I'm hoping someone can provide the answer.

What is the function V = K * f(P) for a fluid flowing through a fixed-size orifice, where V is the delivered volume per unit of time, P is the fluid pressure, and K is a calibration constant? I can determine K from boundary-limit conditions on sample instances. A near-approximation function would suffice.

In my specific instance, 20 < P < 100 psi, and the fluid is water.

I'm getting familiar with Yahoo's quirks, but it's painful.

Yahoo has avatars all over the place. I've set my preferred photo for Messenger, Answers, & 360. Help says I can use my 360 photo for my "avatar", but it seems I can only use it for my Answers picture. Is there a way to replace the hokey cartoon offerings (on avatars.yahoo.com) with my own photo?

OK - I'm an IM neophyte. I find the catalog avatars to be hokey at best. Is there a method by which I can upload my own image an use it as my avatar?
