  • Why did Google Chrome change how to delete browser cache?

In Google Chrome you used to be able to click the Wrench and then click "Clear Browsing Data". Now, with the new release...4.0.249.78, you have to click the Wrench, then Options, then finally "Clear Browsing Data". Has anyone found a shortcut for this in the newest version?

  • Chrome and Firefox Redirecting Browser?

I've searched and searched for an answer to this, but haven't found anything on this topic. Both Google Chrome and Firefox' search results have been taken over. It appears that a website called www.yousendit.net is where all of the search results are headed to.

When performing a search, down in the left hand corner of the Chrome browser, it first shows "waiting for www.google.com", then it quickly changes to "waiting for www.yofindit.net". The first 5-10 results to any search lead to some site associated with yousendit.

Even more odd, is that Internet Explorer is NOT having these issues.?.?

I've emptied all temp files for each browser, ran CCleaner, Comodo, Adaware, McAffee, CW Shredder, SuperAntiSpyware. So far nothing. I can't find related searches anywhere about this.

Has anyone seen or heard anything about this type of issue? Any idea how to fix it?

  • YouTube title WON'T change after editing?

Hello, after several attempts to change the title of my youtube video, it will only change on the video's actual page...NOT on the search results page.

Example: If you search for my username or the correct title of my video, it will show up in the search results - however, it still shows the OLD title. Once you click on the video to watch it, the title is correct on that page.

It's been over 24 hours since I've changed the title, by going to my videos EDIT page, (Which now shows the correct title), and it still hasn't change on the search result page.

    Any ideas?

  • In Keith Urban's I'm in, who sings background vocals?

I was listening to Keith Urban's new album on last.fm tonight, and I heard the cover of "I'm In". I'm wondering if anyone knows who sings background vocals on that song?

On a sidenote -- this song was originally written and sung by Radney Foster, and then covered by The Kinleys several years ago. I absolutely loved the Kinleys' version, which had awesome harmonies in it. They're not in Keith Urban's version. I miss them...but still think Keith's version is pretty cool.

You can listen to Keith's version here - http://www.last.fm/music/Keith+Urban/_/I'm+In?auto...

The Kinleys version here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMCzPjVQJfk

Radney Foster's version here (You'll have to click to play I'm In) - http://www.emusic.com/album/Radney-Foster-Are-You-...

  • Why is Download.com SO slow?

Anyone else have trouble with www.download.com always having super slow download speeds? don't get me wrong, I love the company for their services, and the programs they have available to customers. But, over the last couple of years I haven't had a download faster than about 40 kb/second from their site.

I'm using a cable modem, and ANY other website I download programs from does just fine! Such as www.filehippo.com - I always get speeds up to 200/300/400 or more kb/second.

Anyone else have download.com woes? Fixes? Etc...

  • Does Disk Cleanup work for IE, FF, and Chrome temp files?

Hello, I'm wondering if when you use Vista's Disk Cleanup tool, does it delete temporary files from all of the browsers you use? Such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome? Or does it just delete temp files from your default browser?

I'm wondering if I need to continue to delete temp files manually from each browser as I use it, or if in one fell swoop they can be deleted using the disk cleanup tool?

    Thanks!

  • In The Kite Runner, are Ali and Rahim Khan the same person?

I'm about one third of the way through the book, but I'm puzzled by the characters Ali, and Rahim Khan. I've been reading it as if they were the same person, Hassan's father.

(By the way, the book is amazing so far!! But I was hoping to clear this up before going any further)

    Thanks!

  • Why does windows live mail keep checking for mail?

I've recently installed Windows Live Mail. I unchecked the "Check for new messages every (amount of minutes)" box - but the program still checks for email every so often. I can't quite tell how often it is, so it may be intermittent, or it may be on a schedule.

Either way - has anyone else had this problem? Or are you aware of any way to solve this issue? I DON'T want it to check for email automatically.

    thanks in advance.

  • Can two curved lines be considered parallel?

Just a passing thought as I lay sleepless tonight.

Is the term for two lines that are parallel and then both curve in same direction, with the same distance apart "parallel"? Or is there another word for lines that curve in exactly the same manner - like two parallel straight lines?

    Thanks, just wondering.
