I'll be a freshman in college in August and will be rooming with two other girls assigned to me by the college. I have a girlfriend back home and will be talking to her multiple times a day I'm sure, and I have no clue how to come out to my new roommates. I've been out since I was 15 to my family and friends, but is it inappropriate to come out so soon to roommates? I don't want to make them uncomfortable, but I've never been one to hide who I am. I also plan on being very involved with my school's gay-straight alliance. I have their email adresses, should I maybe tell them before we get there (we won't be able to change assignments)? All advice welcome =]
