Xbox Original Won't Read Discs?
My xbox won't read any discs; no error message, it's like it doesn't realize one is in. When the tray closes, I hear the disc begin to spin like it normally would, but it quickly stops. I already cleaned off the DVD laser lens, and that did not change a thing. Has anyone heard of something like this, or a way to solve it? Or is a part gone bad, and needs to be replaced?
Thanks.
2 AnswersXbox6 years agoCan I get in trouble for setting a moustrap as a guard?
My roommate has been taking food from me for quite some time, and I am getting sick of it. I cannot absolutely prove that he is the one (i.e., no evidence), but we are the only ones in the room, and he is hardly ever out of it. And if he does leave, he ALWAYS locks the door. Its him, or little aliens are stealing it from me. Plus, I know the guy well, and the foods he likes. I can see him doing it, and the foods he particularly likes (chocolates and pretzels) are the ones that go missing from me the most. I'm not being paranoid, it IS him.
However, I have asked him if he has taken food before (not accused, because he gets offended easily and is difficult to talk to then) but he denies it. I can't bring this up to our hall director, because it would be my word versus his. Also, the college is already strained for rooms, so getting a new roommate isn't much of an option either, unless things get really bad.
So, I want to take a more direct approach. I want to put a mousetrap in with my food, so when the dick reaches in, BAM! He gets snapped. However, I am wondering if I could get in trouble for this. My reason, as I would explain, for having a mousetrap in there would be because I have noticed my food gone missing and I wanted to protect it. However, this guy is a big government/know all the laws guy, and his dad is a lobbyist with connections to lawyers. This kid has got connections, and he would use them, and exploit any loophole.
So, if I set up a mousetrap to protect my own property, and he goes in there without my consent and does get injured/pissed, can I get in trouble? Just want to make sure before I do anything.
Thanks for any help!
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat should you do if someone is recording you put you can't prove it?
I have a disorder called Tourette's Syndrome (look it up, and no, you don't swear. That's actually very rare), and I found out that he is planning on or already has recorded my Tourette's. I don't have any proof, and I'm keeping an eye out. Anybody got any advice? Thanks.
