He is a music/teaching student and he is GOOD. School will help pay a little but he still needs about $200.000 - any ideas would help. I lost or sold everything when I became disabled so selling off stuff has already happened. This is a chance of a lifetime to work with this caliber musician and learn from them. Where can we find someone to sponsor him ? Or something that wont interfere with future university loans? they each have a few more weeks to find the money for air fair and passports and what ever else they need so they can go work with /learn from this group. It would do wonders on his resume' as well - OK, so we are surviving below poverty level now so he can be a full time student and saving what ever he can get for loans for university so has anyone else done something similar or have any ideas who do we see or what can we do ? None of the students have very long to get this money together so any thing that would work will be passed on to them as well Please if you can think of anything that we can do we would be So GRATEFUL !. I am disabled. We have no family with money,we go without heat and cooling medication,and anything else we can so he can just go to school.we eat spaghetti 4 nights a week and hot dogs the rest.He goes full time and helps me (looks after ) he was chosen at the auditions to go now he's got a few weeks to find air fair (about $150.000 round trip ) money to do passport and so bottom line he needs about $ 200.000 to make the trip. I need ideas how to raise $ 200.000 It will be good for his resume and for teaching as well. The college is having a concert the benefits will go to the students for this trip but the bottom line is it wont cover every thing. Any ideas? must be legal ideas. Loans are not an option that's being saved for university time. about 3 hrs.into Italy they are expected to be playing with the orchestra.
