When i was in the last stage of my pregnancy high traces of glucose were found in my urine but it was never followed up and i wasnt aware it was a problem I also fainted in the late stages and was told it was because my sugar levels had fallen and i should carry a choc bar around with me.After having my baby 1 1/2 years ago my hands and feet wear often stiff espesh in the morning i was told it was water retention from being pregnant.A year on it still hadnt passed and was then told it was because i was over weight.

Well it has been a year and a half now and my hands and feet are worse then they have ever been,i often get cramps in my legs,feel light headed and get blurred vision.I have stomach cramps every morning and diareah(sorry for spelling)i can go up to 6 times within two hours of being awake,i am constantly thirsty and can drink a glass of drink and feel the need to drink another,my mouth feels constantly dry.A few of these things have worsened over the last few weeks but have been told by my doctor yesturday they are all signs of diabetes.I am going for a blood test on monday and am interested to hear what you all have to say and if you have diabetes and have had these symptoms.

as most of us know some DFS stores have now closed down and i have been hearing an advert on the radio that states a company is selling their furniture for cheap.But i forget the name of it every time.does anyone know what im talking about?

I mean proper stomach rumbling,stomach pains etc not just in the mind.I mean i dont mean things like "oh i fancy a choc bar".

does being on a diet mean you are going to feel hungry?

This is my second week of dieting and im trying to eat no more than 1400 calories in a day.I have a healthy breakfast,soup for lunch,low calorie snack in the afternoon and a 600 calorie dinner. but this just isnt filling me up.By 11am my stomach is rumbling and the same in the afternoon around 3-4pm. Im eating more regulary then what i used to just healthier food and im watching my portion size.If i am so hungry does this mean i need more calories in a day for my body?Im very tiered since ive started my diet and feel worse nt better then what i did before.Obviously i want to loose weight because imvery unhappy with my size after having my baby but i dont want to be hungry allthe time.

please any advice would be good. Oh and before anybody mentions it, yes i am changing my lifestyle long term this is not a fad diet.

Ok so i and 5"6 and weigh 15st(around 95lbs). I want to loose some weight so have been on a diet of 1200-1400 calories a day with some exercise when i can. Once i have reached my target weight how many calories should i be eating to maintain my weight? Do i continue to eat around 1200-1400 calories a day or will that still make me loose weight. Or if i go up to 2000(recommened daily allowance) would that make me put weight back on ?

Hi everyone reading, my question is......

Before i had my baby just over a year ago i had a fairly toned belly,i done sit ups every day and had what you could call a two pack.The bottom of my belly never got toned but the upper did. Since having my baby obviously its all stretch and wabbles like jelly,theres no definition left at all. I also cant do sit ups anymore as it hurts the base of my spine, is there any other way i can tone up my stomach without doing sit ups.

I have also tried those ab tonning belts but i had no luck.

ok so im trying to remove windows from my laptop and replace it with windows 98 se. I dont have the upgrade cd so thats why i am having to do it this way.I've made my bootable floppy and have changed my booting setting on my laptop. But the problem i am having is........

The laptop restarts and says its booting from floppy a but then it tells me to remove all discs which i dont understand. If i dont remove it it does nothing and if i do remove it then its not using the information on the disc and then i still cant format my c drive. Anyone know what im doing wrong, cheers?

I've got an old laptop which is running on windows95 but i need it to run on windows 98se. I have the cd but it is not the upgrade version so i need some help in removing windows 95compleatly and starting from scratch with windows 98se. Does anyone know how to do this? please help me if you do.

my son is now 8months old and from birth he has been a very hungry baby.Always having more ounces in a bottle then average etc.I started weaning him a little under 3months because he was showing a real interest in food and i just couldnt keep up with his bottle feeds.His always loved his food and would try anything and everything.But for the last week he wont eat anything.I usually give him formula milk but it got to the point where he wasnt even drinking his bottle.I gave him a beaker with cows milk in or water and he drinks that no problem but wont touch his bottle.Even if i put formula in the beaker he knows the difference and wont drink it.As far as food goes the only thing he will eat is yoghurt,i dont know where this has come from as as i said he has never been a fussy eater,far from it!If i try to feed him something,whether it be by hand or by spoon he shakes his head and wont open his mouth.I dont want to force him to eat as im sure this will make matters worse but he hardly eats anything in a day and surely this cant be good either. If i am eating he will strain his head to see what i am doing but as soon as i offer him any once again heshakes he head and gets in distress.Any suggestions on what i could do or has anyone else had this same problem?

He isnt teething as 4 of his teethe are through and there are no signs of anymore as yet, i dont give him too much fluid to fill him up as i only give it at meal times(during or after).

do you still have to do a 20-25% water change? or should you compleatly leave it alone.

Alot of people have said on here that you need a decent sized fish tank so why do they sell a 7 litre tank. can any fish be happy in this amount of water?if so which ones?

I have a small fish tank with one fantailed goldfish in. It is filtered and has a air pump. I have just upgraded to a bigger tank then i had before as it was getting and i still have the same problem. I moved my fish in yesturday afternoon and by this morning it was cloudy,it whitish in colour, doesnt smell and isnt green. I have gravel at the bottom with two stones and a plant. I also had a coldwater snail in there(apple snail). I have removed each one, one by one to see what is causing the problem by i still havnt found an answer. Any ideas what this could be? It doesnt seem to be upsetting my fish he seems very happy but i cant see him lol

just to be nosey really, i have a 8month old and i dont know anyone with a baby so i dont have anyone to compare my baby to. Just wondering what you 8month old feeding routine is for a day.

I had my baby 6months ago and have had regular periods ever since(starting on 21st of every month).i bleed for 3weeks after the birth of my baby but periods regained a regular pattern straight after this.On the 21st of this month(when my period should have started) i got my usual bad period pains which i still faintly have now but i have had no period at all. This has never happened to me before,do you have any ideas what this could be. Yes i do know that there is a possibility i could be pregnant again so yes i will be doing a test but do you have you had this happen to you. it just seems weird that i have the pains but nothing else.

What is your feeding routine for your six month old baby.Ideally i want answers from women with babies that have already been weaned and are eating a fair amount of solids now. for example. When do you give a bottle and how much do you give.When does your baby have solid foods and at what times.Do you give bottles seperate to solids or do you give it at the same time.

My baby sleeps through the night anyway but i didnt know whether i should be giving this to him as cow and gate keep sending me vouchers for it. Is it just another way for you to spend your money or does a baby benefit from drinking this?

since having my baby 5months ago i have been doing my pelvic floor exercises but its not helping. Everything down there seemed fine up untill the last few weeks. I have a sudden urgre to go to the wee and if i dont run to the nearest toilet i wet myself. Luckily i have only been caught out twice and i have been home both times. does anyone have any advise please or should i just go to the doctors? is there a reason why the exercises arent working?my midwife said i was doing them right!
