IV flow rate?
An IV of 1000 mL 5% dextrose in water is to be infused at 125 mL/hr. The infusion set delivers 10 drops per milliliter. The rate of flow should be set at
20 drops per minute - this is the correct answer, however, how do you solve this question? Thank you!!!

I realize this is a relatively simple question, however, I haven't done these calculations in forever and I can't find the method to figure this out on Google for the life of me.
An IV of 1000mL 5% dextrose in water is to be infused at 125mL/hr. The infusion set delivers 10 drops per milliliter. The rate of flow should be set at:
1. 20 drops per minute
2. 40 drops per minute
Etc
The correct answer in the book says 20 drops per minute. The formula that they say is to be used to derive this answer is : amount to be infused x drop factor/time of infusion in minutes. How would you solve this since no time of infusion is given? Thank you!!
