  • Is Au Pair and Student visa the same in France?

    I am a non-EU citizen and I am working as an Au Pair in France and I have a long stay visa type D-Etudiant-Autorise Travail. Also, I have OFII stamp with my name and the name and the address of my host family. I want to enroll at University and do my Masters here. My question is should I go back to my country after I am accepted at University and re-apply for a new visa and change status or I can extend my visa just by going at OFII and present all of the neccessery documents and the proof that I am enrolled at University? I am confused because nowhere in my passport says that I am Au Pair, it only says student and on the OFII stamp I have nothing else but my name and the name and address of my host family.

  • Question about Au Pair stay in France for Non-EU citizens. Please answer if you have any information!?

    I was reading everywhere that I can stay maximum 24 months in France as Au Pair. Does that mean that I can stay max 24 months with one going or overall?? I am a non-EU.
