Heres the story im 23 going to turn 24 in a few months. I live with my parents and go to school full time while holding a part time job. I feel my parents cant claim me because I provide over 50% of my own support. Heres the yearly breakdown:

Parents Pay:

Housing/Utilities and 1/3 of my food: $526 per month x 12 months= $6312 ( this is my share of expenses not the whole hosuehold)

Medical: $150 x 12 months = $1800

Total: $8,112

I Pay:

2/3 of my food: 200 per month x 12 months = $2400

Tuition: $2158 a quarter x 2 quarters= $4316

Books for school = $500

Cloths= $800

Car Payments, Gas and Insurance: $ 4800

Cell: $40 monthly x 12= $480

Gym $ 60 monthly x 6 = $360

Plus cleaning products ie. Windex and grooming supplies ie shaving cream razors: $40 monthly x12 = 480

My total:$14,136

So isnt it illegal for my parents to claim me?

$6450 ($1500 Car Payments, $1200 Motorcycle Payments, $1200 Insurance for both vehicles,$1800

Gas, $750 Repairs and Maintenance of tires)

Total: $11,548 <--- not including entertainment expenses

Now do all these things count as providing support for myself? If so they can not claim me as a dependent correct?

If im making $13 hourly as a contractor and work the same amount of hours as an employee at $13 hourly would I make the same amount after taxes have been payed or deducted?

So im a 23 y/o male and ive had my share of dating experiences, I would always go into a date having some sort of expectation.... which leads to let downs. Now my question is im figuring dating should strictly be about having fun. If it turns into something more that Im down for then ill roll with it. So pretty much dating shouldn't be about expecting anything, rather just just a fun night out to meet someone new, gain dating experience and have fun?

I meet this girl, wasn't generally attracted to her. Talked to her for a bit and here and their over a few months and liked some of her character. I went out on a first date with her and i felt some sparks but the second date didn't feel the same. It was fun hanging out with her but im having doubts about this going anywhere, never felt the time was right to kiss her. We have plans to go out in a few days for a third date... should I give it another chance or cut it off now.

Im 23 y/o male live with my parents work part time and go to school full time just finished my AA degree and am transfering to a university close to home.I and tired of the dependency on my parents and want to be independent and get out of the area to finish my bachelors. Any insight or experence on working full time and going to school full time. I know it will be ruff but itll make me a stronger man in the end

Im an EMT-B in southern california and was going transfer up to humbolt state university next semster, and Im looking for emt related work in the area of Humboldt state university. Does the Fire department do ambulance transports or is their an ambulance company that contracts with the county to run 911 calls.

I plan on paying for college on my own but I decided to take out all the subsidized loans, in case of an emergency. Now am i better off not taking out the loans and paying for tuition myself, in reguards to getting a tax break... inturn getting more $$$ back durning tax time? Or can taking out the subsidized loans get me a tax break just as hefty as not taking them out

and i not saying, well since the future had not happened and the past is... in the past and its not real.... but rather their is only the present moment and time is but an illusion of u moving through the already prefabricated future and past, though being able to chose which path u want to go on..... kinda like a labyrinth that has already been here all along, you are just choosing what you want to experience

Everywhere you look things seem to be apart of the same, look at atoms... everything is apart of the same fabric so how could any human, plant, animal, star or anything else be seperate. Understanding though that each of the listed is having its own unique experience, it is still apart of the same prime source

Ive been dating this girl for about 3 weeks, Ive known her for 3 months now and was semi friends until we started dating. All of our dates have been going great. I know she likes me, I really enjoy her company and we have been really hitting it off. Whenever I drop her off at the end of our dates I get an unsettled feeling the next day. But i think this is because Im worried she will find somebody else. I really want to keep it cool and let things happen naturally ( which they are ) but im wondering if nows the time to ask her if she wants to date exclusively. I think this would take that unsettled feeling away and probably stop driving me so crazy. Any suggestions?

About 3 weeks ago I decided to quit drinking, I took up meditation and took a proactive step to finding myself. I was going good but I started craving a drink after 2 weeks and on week three I got so overwhelmed with stuff in my life I decided to go out with my friends and get a drink. Now Im back to my old ways. Mind you I dont drink nearly as much as I used to, i usually just stick to 2 maybe 3 drinks but I dont feel nearly as good as when I stoped for thouse three weeks Im always thinking about drinking now! Any advice or encouragement to help me get back on the right track?!?!?

Is all the really exists just this moment? Is this moment just an illusion? And if so has Buddhism had the right idea all along?

With science pointing towards a new unimaginable way of thinking with infinite being possible and infinite realities plus how particles can act as both waves and points existing in different places at once, couldn't that explain that there's no such thing as a concrete reality that we all are used to believing. And also could your perception just be as simple as jumping from one reality to another, instead of having past and future? reconforming in the idea that there's only singular moments. kinda like how a flip book works where the combination of a single pictures gives the perception of action or movement?

To clarify i guess u can consider there to be a future but the future is just a shift in our perception not an actual concept in time. and because you make a choice conscious or unconscious you then move your perception into that direction or viewpoint

is it dishonest to not follow the law, considering there's laws in some countries that don't allow women to reveal there faces, curfews for everyone and for speaking out against the government to be illegal. How I see it is if nobody challenged the laws then nothing would really change and the governments of the world would have control over us. I do feel there's a way to break a law and still have honesty and integrity as long as its not an ethical issue

About a year ago my ex broke up with me, we were going out for a few months and I was being a stage 5 clinger which in turn lead to the break up. It was my first serious relationship and she opened my eyes as to how it all works. I dramatically changed, got my **** together and started being a man. She got a new boyfriend a few months after our break up. Now we ran into each other a month ago and ever since then shes been calling me occasionally texting me and even driving by my house to ask what im up to when im hanging out outside. Im sick of entertaining it but my question is why the hell does she in my business and hitting me up all the time???

Im going to make this short and sweet im 22 y/o male going to college and holding down a part time job. My parents are a little rough to deal with sometimes but shits hit the fan lately because I feel my parents are irrational. The situation all started with a knob breaking on our dryer. I like to dry my cloths on low heat so they dont get ruined and I switched it to low one day and the knob broke. I took the blame for it and said id replace it, but my parents flipped out and said no more drying on low. Wouldnt talk to me or give me any room to plead my case but no is no...... So i said whatever and took another knob off one of the other setting and switched it to low setting. They caught me doing that one day and took all the knobs off except the main one. So I used a wrench and switched it to low and left it..... 3 months later nobody noticed the difference until my dad realized it took long to dry a heavy load of towels. instead of checking that he took apart the ceiling to clean the vent and ended up breaking the whole air vent..... when i told him did u check if it was low they flipped out and blamed the entire situation on me. Should I be held liable for my the damage that was caused afterwards, when all that needed to be fixed in the first place was the knob

I have two knobs on my dryer and one of them just controls the temperature, ( High, med, low ,no heat) and the other is the regular knob with cottons, dedicates and perm press. Whats the difference between the two when you dry on cotton and low heat, or just leaving regular heat and changing the setting to delicate...... In respect to drying cotton shirts that say to dry on low heat
