  • Mechanic Lien from a place I did not take a car to.?

    Story is that I had a car at a shop. I had take it to them over the summer and the place went out of business. I was not told that they towing my car to another company. I got a letter saying that the second company was placing a Mechanic's Lien if I did not pay around $800. The car is still broke and most of the cost is storage.
