I have a new HP G42 laptop with Windows 7. The camera suddenly began to display only black on multiple programs. The computer says that the camera is functioning and I have the latest drivers installed. I have checked the brightness settings. I did not drop the computer or install any software that would have caused this. I am currently overseas so getting this to work so I can video chat is very important to me. Any ideas?

USC is trying to fill dates in two-year cycles for 2015-2016, 2017-2018, 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.

USC's goal is to start series with BCS opponents at home in odd years because those are the years the Trojans travel to Notre Dame.

I'm considering a brief trip to KL for a few days between July 24 and August 2. I heard the haze from the forest fires varies from year to year, is it very bad this year?

I'm staying in Shanghai for several months. I only have a 60 day visa so I am planning to leave the country the weekend of July 4 and reenter to renew it; this gives me a good excuse to explore another city. I would like to spend under $400 US on airfare. The only flights I have found for less are to Hong Kong or Seoul. I am not thrilled about going to Hong Kong--I want to experience something different. Right now Seoul is my first choice. Does anyone know of any cheaper flights to outside China from Shanghai?

After destroying the Big 10 champion, #8 Penn State, #5 USC was given a chance to finish #3 or #4, depending on how teams above them fared. However, #4 Alabama was just convincingly upset by #7 Utah. Furthermore, Arizona, Cal, Oregon, and Oregon State all won their bowl games, helping to ease feelings that the Pac-10 was weak from top to bottom. If #3 Texas is upset by Ohio State, a team that USC routed, and Florida and Oklahoma play a sloppy, unappetizing title game, could the AP voters split the title once again?

Any answers that state simply "Texas won't lose Hook 'em Horns" will result in severe bad karma. I have money on Texas, but this is what ifs. We're trying to be intelligent here.

If USC smokes one of these teams whose fans constantly claim USC is overrated and plays no one and would lose 4 games a year in the SEC or Big XII shut the hell up or pretend it never happened and hate on?

We all know that if Oregon State wins out, USC splits the Pac-10 title and loses the Rose Bowl berth to the Beavers. But is there any possibility that an 11-1 USC (with Notre Dame at home and UCLA in their future) wouldn't receive an at-large bid to another BCS bowl (i.e. fiesta, sugar) with their only loss to a team ranked in the teens?

Washington State might be the worst team in the history of the Pac-10. Injuries have forced them to conduct open QB tryouts. The point spread is 43, the biggest in Pac-10 history, but worse teams than USC have beat WSU by more than 43 this year. We could be looking at a truly epic point spread, even with the third string playing in the third quarter. What do you think the score will be?
