I have two Basset Hounds that i love dearly. I got 2 from rescue. Buddy, my oldest who is 6 is the first that we got. I had wanted a hound all my life and I was lucky enough to come upon the golden gate basset rescue. They paired me up with Buddy and he has taught me all about hounds. He has been so much fun, i decided to get another. My second hound, Copper, also a resuce passed away from distemper. Copper was rescued from a backyard breeder that didnt believe in vaccinating. Our efforts were tireless to try to save his life but we were able to give him lots of love and show him what family is all about. We loved him a lot, he is watching over us now. My baby basset, 6 months, is Bubba Ray. He is a strong boy from Texas. Very strong personalilty, very loving, always by my side. My family of hounds are my life and I hope to one day either foster needy hounds or eventually breed. I love animals so much and love to help animals in need.

  • 01 Vw Jetta Gls 2.0 slight idle problem?

My Jetta has a very slight idle problem. Replaced the MAF & air filter, new spark plugs. That drastically helped the idle problem. But it still idles just slightly low where you can see the needle move just a hair when stopped. It accelerates ok, doesn't seem to loss or power. Got 17551 code. Maybe throttle body needs cleaning or replaced?

  • 2005 mustang Gt alarm issues?

Hi so just recently I've been having issues with my alarm on my mustang. Honestly I didn't know how to set the factory alarm since I don't have a clicker. I went to unlock my car yesterday, the alarm went off. So I inserted the key into door & went to turn the car on. It went into lockdown mode. The window started rolling itself down just on drivers side. I couldn't get it to reset, don't know how to, so I disconnected the battery. Car starts just fine. Went to start the car today, same thing car is in lockdown mode. I have read that the chip inside the key could be going bad. The dealer wants to charge 150 for a diagnostic, then if it needs the key another 170. I'd like to avoid the dealer if I can. Any ideas

  • Ways to make my plug in hot tub quieter?

Need some ideas. I have a plug in hot tub out on my patio. It is on a flat, level cement surface. My neighbors complained that it is very noisy & the sound is traveling into their house. It is right outside my bedroom window & I don't feel it is that noisy, but also don't want to disturb the neighbors. I turn the pump off completely at night & don't turn it on till late morning. I have tried putting some sound dampening foam inside of the pump area, making sure the pump can vent. It still to be a little quieter, but not silent. Any ideas out there??? I need this for my back, it's not just for leisure . Please help!!!!!

Only when i use the a/c. it works fine for a few minutes then the gauge starts creeping up near the hot line to the point i have to just turn it off. i took it to a shop they said they cant find anything wrong with it. it runs clean diagnostically. I also had other tests done on the cooling system & it all passed on all. Also i have also replaced water pump, timing belt, radiator, radiator hoses, thermostat & gasket, also the cooling temp sensor. i have had my car for 2 yrs. its always done this when the a/c is on & several shops have been unsuccessful in fixing this issue. Any ideas anyone?

  • 98 civic ex radiator fan not coming on like it should?

Just replaced cooling temp & water temp sensor. Now it seems like the radiator fan is not kicking on when the temp goes high. We bypassed the fan switch & tested it. The fan works. ChAnged the fuse for the fan, also replaced the fan switch in the thermostat housing. this all happened after the cooling sensor was changed. I also have replaced the radiator, numerous hoses, thermostat & gasket, water pump & timing belt. Car has passed a leakdown & pressure tests. My passenger floormat is dry so I know its not the heater core & my oil looks like oil so please dont say the head gasket. I have already had that checked out & its fine. I cant figure why the temp gauge is all wacked out & the fan isnt kicking on. Ideas please?

  • Involuntary lien for car loan?

So a while ago o bought a car. Had fallen on some hard times & could only make a partial payment but had made arrangements for them to automatically deduct the remainder in 2 weeks. After I made the partial payment they repo'd the car 2 days later even though we had made arrangements. Nothing i could do to get the car back the impound fees were extravagant. So they filed an involuntary lien to garnish my wages for a total of $9600 (way more then the car is worth), im a county about 2 hrs away from where I reside, the car was, or their business office is. I got no court documents, summons, nothing, so I was completely blindsided to the lien. What kind of recourse if any do I have? Can I ask them to give me the car? Also I am a single mom & the sole source of income for my house. Im not one to skip out on my bills or responsibilties financially, so I really dont know how to handle this. Any advice anyone? Any help wilL be greatly appreciated

  • temp wont go down on 98 civic?

Had some repairs done on my cooling system on my civic coupe I just got. Top hose broke in front of place I was getting my oil changed, a little good luck on that. Then the bottom hose was also replaced. The coolant temp sensor was replaced, thermostat was replaced. the car had coolant at all times & is full. Yesterday the temp shot up out of nowhere, almost immediately to the hot line. I luckily was close to home, turned the heat on as high as it could go. The temp gauge would not go down at all. Didn't hear the fans kick in either. I didn't drive but 2 blocks 2 get home so I wasn't stressing the car at such a high temp. The cooling system is going haywire!!! I bought the car used & I'm not sure that the little dealer I bought it from is familiar with hondas. I just need an idea of where to start. Water pump, new radiator, a fan switch? HELP!

  • 98 civic ex coupe overheating?

I just got a 98 civic ex coupe. Been having problems with the cooling system and im not sure the dealer fixing it knows what they are doing. Its got new hoses, the top hose was the one that started the problems. It broke and ever since i have had trouble. So we put on all new hoses. The dealer (not a honda dealer) told me it was a sensor because the temp gauge isn't working. Sensor was replaced. I also had them replace the thermostat and the gasket to go with. The car was working fine for a few days then out of nowhere the temp gauge shot up and the car would not cool down. Its almost as if the whole system shut down. I dont recall the fan coming on, at least i didnt hear it, since they put on the new sensor,I did add some more coolant, (yes it did have coolant). Then i had to keep the heat on just to keep the temp in check. Maybe its the water pump or timing belt. Maybe the sensor they put on is faulty. I really need help.

  • water pump or thermostat on a 98 civic?

Just got a 98 civic last week. I'm not entirely sure the temperature guage is working. Last Sunday the top radiator hose busted. The hose was replaced, car ran fine till I got home. The car smelled hot(if that makes any sense). Raditor fluid came out of somewhere, don't know where. I checked out the same hose, it looked fine. My brother said it might be either the thermostat or the water pump. Any ideas? HELP

  • My hair is SO dry after bleaching?

My hair is normally curly and coarse in texture. I bleached it out to brighten it up a bit for summer and now it is so, so dry. I need a good shampoo & conditioner, hair treatment or all of it to get my hair back in shape. Im a girl on a budget so i cant afford to get a good conditioning treatment at the salon. So far i have tried tresemme, herbal essances, and pantene. They are ok but i want to drench my hair in moisture and repair it. Some good advice please!!!!
