How do I go about paying tax on a cash income basis? I have taken part in a couple of studies which pay cash for expenses such as travel costs of £2.50 and time costs of £6. it is done on a cash basis and there is no Invoice although there is an online record. How would i go about paying tax on this? I work full time outside of this. I live in the UK.

I have an ex boyfriend who i am now best mates with. We have been through the difficult patch where we still had feelings for each other. I would say now we are best friends and there is no sexual tension or pent up feelings from the old relationship. The problem i have is he hasn't been to the dentist for as long as i have known him. This may seem an odd thing to comment on only his teeth are looking very unhealthy and his gums are very bad. The thing is I have started noticing that he is getting really bad breath because of this.

My question is, as a friend would you be up front and tell them this knowing it will upset them or do you just carry on as if nothing is different. Only if it was me i would want to be told. However i am worried it will effect our relationship!

my copy of windows media player has distorted sound, it's muffled and sounds like a badly tuned radio. i have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and have rerun windows but it still does the same. is there a patch or some other software that may help?

is it possible to connect a laptop to a tv and watch films via the computer software ie wmp. if this is possible what lead would i need. can it be done through the vdc vda 15 pin connection to a scart lead. as it would be easier than burning onto dvd as dvd recorder isn't functioning properly.

my back wheel keeps moving to the left and rubbing on the frame .Is this likely to be a problem with the frame or a problem with the wheel? i have had to adjust the wheel every day for about a week.
