what would a battering ram for the fire department be made out of? looking at a six inch steel pipe and welding steel plates over the ends with re-bar handles and wrapping them in athletic tape or some type of vinyl, not sure what to fill it with yet. any ideas?

What does it take to be a wild land firefighter and how well does it pay? Would I have to live near the fire area or could I just go to say California for the fire season? Already a volunteer but that is mostly car accidents and grass fires.

I work for the government as a mechanic, but i also am a volunteer firefighter. My question is if i get a fire call can i leave work to respond to the call? I work eight miles from the station and its just down the highway from me. Could i be terminated if i go to a fire? It would be really crappy if somebodies house is burning down and all the firefighters are like can't get there till five when i'm off.

So have a problem, get bored and my mind drifts into happy memories that turn into bad memories, that brings up grudges and then the rest of my day is shot. Hands start shaking and sometimes need a drink to calm down or something, what to do that will get rid of these memories or my response to these?

I realize i'm not twenty years old anymore but i started running in my combat boots like i did back in basic training and the front of my left knee right below the knee cap keeps locking up and is terribly sore and painful after wards. Went to a shoe store and bought inserts for my shoes to help my arches but the knee is still an issue. Any ideas to help short of going to the doc.

In the years past i would never stop from helping anyone, i have been stabbed in the back one too many times i fear. I feel myself becoming cold and not caring if people live or die, the world could burn and I think I would laugh. I feel somewhat terrible for having these feelings but part of me isn't bothered by this. Does this make me a bad person? I am good enough for them when they need help, but for some reason after that i am not good enough and considered that really good guy but never anything more.

Looking for plans to build an experimental aircraft that can pull some G's and get me home safe. I'm an aircraft mechanic in the army so the building part shouldn't be too much of an issue. Anybody know where i can find some plans to start with?

Want to build an acrobatic experimental aircraft and i'm looking for blueprints to go off of to build it. Need some help. I'm an apache mechanic for the army so the building won't be an issue, i understand aircraft its finding plans that seems to be the issue. Thanks.

I'm in the army, came from a small town that she hated because it was too "country" and so are st. louis and kansas city, they just arent DC. I found her property for horses, but where i live is wrong, i said i'd go active in the army but she doesn't want to move that much, i'm going to flight school in a year for the apache and i would be gone too long she said, so now she is with a marine cop who couldn't make it into college and isn't proactive in gov't and is rude from the one time i talked to him. Why do I feel bad that she down graded? I gave her everything I had and it wasn't good enough so she goes for less. It doesn't make sense.

So i was told to find who i am. I seem to need the adrenaline rush to feel alive anymore. I view my life simply but i need to start finding me i guess.
