I feel like I'm missing something here. The first part of this question is going to consist of me laughing at some of the questions I've seen here on Yahoo! Answers.

People asking if people are cheating on them because someone posted a ';)' on someone's wall. People asking people on here when they should have sex. People asking if someone likes them or not because of the stupidest things.

How much have things changed these days? The generation of people too asking people out over Facebook because they can't do it in person. I mean, I'm only 19, but seriously?

What ever happened to spending time with someone you liked in person, getting to know each other properly, doing stupid things together, things you'd never normally do? I know this all still exists but, it's become so diluted and taken for granted. People have abandoned values that should mean things and are going for things that shouldn't. They're doing stupid things to get attention, or 'likes'.

Why has all this changed so much?

Ok, I have some code that is working, just not in the way I want it to. If i have an XML sheet that looks like this:

How do I use PHP (an IF statement) to choose to use information from the one that has the active="1" attribute. The important part is when the other one doens't have an active atttribute at all, and when I can't add the active attribute to it. I know that otherwise it will use the first one in the list (which is the one without the active attribute) I need it to use attrbutes from the one with active in it, so, in this case i would want it to find the attribute 'group' in the sub section named 'sub2' that has active on it.

I have a 10 day trial from another WoW owner (from a friend), and to upgrade the account to a retail account, you must input a serial number, I was just wondering, if you need to have all 3 expansion packs to upgrade the account to a WoTLK account, or if you can buy just WoTLK and type that serial in to fully upgrade the account...

Can anyone think of the name of a game, it's similar to gyro ball, but it'd 3D, its got the same concept, but it's liek a 3d full screen mini-game (stand alone game) it had about 20 levels...

I need a script or something that is client side only, so, there is no server side processing. But that also when you are logged in, stays on the same page, and changes a login form, into a welcome message, like you see on forums, or on here for example.

Yesterday I payed for a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard and a AMD Phenom 9850 (Also with 4GB (4x1GB dimm) of kingston hyperX 1066Mhz RAM, and an antec 300 case) and I've read around places, that the CPU isn't supported by the board, and then again, I've read around places that say they're got it working and it's fine. Oh yeh, and I'm also going to be using a Zalman Aero Flower CPU cooler ontop of it to cool it, if it's not meant to work, then I cn just cancel the order, or send it back when I get it and get another different one...

I was just wondering, how you can do it, can you do it with the Evaluation Edition or do you need the full version? Do you NEED Service pack 4, can you link me to a guide or tell me how to do it please =D

Basically, I'm at college right now, and my teacher can't remember how to do this, so, I'm asking here XD. How would you make an If/ Else statement for any value OTHER than the ones you want.

Okay, I bought a domain, ( http://www.4gonline.co.uk/ ) and I want to make it point to this location: http://www.webtech21.org/rhys/

I bought it with www.123-reg.co.uk and yes, I do own the other domain I wish to point it to.

I think it is something I have to do with the DNS server configuration, but I really honestly don't know what to set it to, something to do with CNAME and A... things.

Please help me!! I really want this working, I just got all the main site setup. Tell me what you think of the design on the site too please =]

Basically, I just bought a new domain name ( http://www.4gonline.co.uk/ ) from 123-reg.co.uk the process was fast and smooth, and now I want to point it towards a domain that I already own, because the webspace is on the other domain, this is just a name.

I want my new domain to point to http://www.webtech21.org/rhys/

But, in the address bar I want it to display http://www.4gonline.co.uk,/ and when you go onto 4gonline.co.uk I want it to show the contents of the http://www.webtech21.org/rhys/ folder.

On-top of that, (because we got that partially working) i want it to be able to click on a link to the shp for example, and for it to display the URL as http://www.4gonline.co.uk/4gshop ( the original URL is http://www.webtech21.org/rhys/4gshop ) but, at the moment it just stays as http://www.4gonline.co.uk/

I'll set it up as we had it before to shop you what I mean.

Basically I have a friend who owns a business called Browzar, (http://www.browzar.com/) and we just wanted some ideas on how to promote it. It's a free web browser that is designed to clear all your private data (ie. cookies, your cache etc after each session ((so when you close it)))

Okay, I like a girl, I'm 16 years old, and she has said she likes me too, we saw each other after my high school prom and I could feel something there between us, and I could tell she felt the same. About a week later we hooked up and we talked for about an hour, but, I had to go, because I was going on holiday (great timing for the next part huh) and when we hugged to say goodbye, it just turned into a kiss, and then, she hasn't realy spoken to me until yesterday when I met her at a party by chance. We talked and we sort of sorted things out and ended up making out again, but, she keeps sending me mixed signals. I just want to be careful so I don't get led on (as it has happened countless times in the short time i've been around XD). i just want to know from someone with more experience what they think i should do, keeping in mind my age, and that i will be going to college this september.

Okay, I've seen this problem before, but no-one answered it, and now I have it...

When I play Sims 2, I have to click slightly lower and to the right to what I want to click on, it gets really annoying, because say for instance, you want to use a scroll bar, it takes a while to find it.

is good for selling images, so a user can purchase prints in galleries etc, so you can just select the image/ images and sizes that you want in a layout you want?

If I got a motherboard with an Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 already in that has a PCI-E slot, would I be able to put another graphics card in with the intel one, say.. an nVidia GeForce 8600?
