  • HP slimline s7420 wireless not working?

    I own a HP slimline desktop computer that I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Much to my horror, when I powered it up, the wireless USB adapter(d-link model: DWA-130) was not working. The USB ports were working and when I plugged the D-Link USB into another computer, it worked immeadeatly. For some reason the computer just would not recognize the USB wireless adapter. So I re-installed Windows and when I plugged in the adapter it started to install the driver but then it said there was no driver in the adapter. Then I downloaded the driver here: http://drivers.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?...

    and copied it to a flash drive. When I ran the installer, it told me to insert my hardware to continue. But my adapter WAS plugged in! What do I do? Your help is greatly appreciated.

  • Wireless on Ubuntu not working?

    I just installed Ubuntu on my Dell D610, and under the wireless button it says 'device not ready(firmware missing)' Also, the wifi light above the keyboard is not lit up, but when I press FN+F2 it does not come back on. How do I fix this?

  • Using Trial Version of Windows?

    I have a really of laptop and I installed a trial version of Windows 7 Ultimate but now my wallpaper is stuck on a solid black color and there is a watermark on the bottom right that says " Windows 7 Built 7600 This Copy of Windows is not genuine". How do I get rid of the watermark and get my Wallpaper back? Thanks.
