I am 33 weeks pregnant with my first child. I am 26 years old and I have one sister who is 31. Last year I got married and my sister acted happy for me, but every time she had a chance, she made certain to comment on my happiness and how she was never going to find someone to settle down with and it made me feel really bad for her and very guilty. Well, now I'm pregnant and the same thing happened. When I told her about the baby she was really rude to me and made me feel like I'd done something wrong. I told her now that I'm married I want a child, and asked her what's wrong with that? She came around a couple days later and has been ok since then, besides the comments of how she is never going to have a baby and stuff like that. My sister was temporarily living around 2000 miles away from me when i found out I was pregnant and after her assignment there ended, she came to live near us until the baby was born. Until she found a place of her own, she lived with my husband and I and constantly made comments about how she didnt want to do my shower and how watching my baby move was gross to her. She's my only sister and I love her dearly, but that stuff really hurt me. I tried hooking my sister up with a guy friend of mine once she got back and she liked him, but he wasn't as into her as she was to him and so it didn't work out. My sister's last 2 relationships (totalling over 5 years) were with married men almost twice her age...this is one of the main reasons she hasn't married or had children, but on the 4th of July she met a guy and he moved in with her in mid August. I know of 2 occasions where she met up with one of her Ex's, whether they had sex, I don't know. Anyway, she called me yesterday morning to tell me she was pregnant. It caught me off guard and I asked, "By Bill?" Bill's the guy she met on the 4th of July and she screamed at me, "Well of course it's Bill's" and then hung up on me and later sent me text message after text message saying she can't believe what a crappy sister I am and how cruel it was to question who the father of her baby is. I didn't mean it be mean, it was just the first thing that came to my mind when she said she was pregnant. Now she won't speak to me and has told everyone in our family that I questioned who the father of her child is. Is it really that far a stretch? My sister's moral standards and mine aren't even remotely close to being the same. I for one would never start a relationship with a known married man...muchless TWO. My family doesn't know about either of the relationships because my sister kept them hidden well...but because she tells me, my husband and I are the only ones who know. What can I do to make this situation any better? I love my sister and I know she wanted a baby more than anything, but I can't understand why she is acting like this. Any help is much appreciated. I'm so upset.

I haven't had any bleeding or anything like that today. I bled a little on Monday (for the 1st time) and rushed to my OB only to be told that everything looked fine and sometimes people bleed even when everything is in order. I'm afraid if I call them they are going to think I'm crazy. I just wanted to know if this has ever happened to anyone else before and if it's normal or not. PLEASE HELP.

Sister in law (who hates me, and whom I can't stand) is having a baby as we speak. My husband wants to go to the hospital and wants me to go with him. I'm expecting a baby as well and I know that I wouldn't want her there on the day of my delivery. Should I go anyway, since hubby is bound and determined to go see his new niece, who by the way, we will surely never have a relationship with because her mother is psycho!!! I'm seriously afraid we will walk in and she will say, "Get the **** out of here." It's that bad. What should I do?

Also, side note - the in-laws are there too and I know if I don't go, it will be seen as trying to continue the feud...which is definitely not what I want to do.

I have recently been looking for another job and casually mentioned to one of my best friends that I was really excited because I have interviews with 3 of the companies I've applied. She said that she too had been looking for another job and applied at 2 of the places that called me for an interview, but hadn't heard anything from them. To make a long story short, I offered to give her resume a look and it was HORRIBLE. I completely revamped the thing and then, behind my back, she took the new and improved resume (THAT I DID!!!) to the job I was most excited about interviewing for and had an interview yesterday.

Last night she text messaged me telling me how hard the interview was (it was the first I'd heard of her having the interview) and that I should really be really worried because the interview was "like being on a witness stand." I could tell she was trying to intimidate me and make me not go. I don't know what to do. I tried to extend my hand to help her get a job and now she's trying to bring me down too. I told her that I wasn't worried about it because I usually interview really well and I've worked in this field before and did really well and loved the job.

This girl was one of my bridesmaids. I would never do this to her. Can we come away from this and still be friends? What should I do? She has NEVER acted like this before? Above everything else, it hurts my feelings.

I can't think of the word, but i think it starts with a V and is French in origination.

This is driving me INSANE!!!! Please help!!!

We're paying for our own wedding and things are swiftly adding up. I want things to look as elegant as possible, but like some people out there, my parents aren't in a position to help out very much. My Mom is buying my dress though, so that's a big help itself. ANY suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!! I'm beginning to let the scare of no money ruin things, and after all that is not what the day is all about. I know if I just had some ideas I would feel better.
