I'm reading and article made 3 hours ago, and there are comments from December 2010. WTF is this? And this is not the only one, I've noticed this on most yahoo news articles I've for weeks.

I haven't ran in 5 months due to injuries, and now my mile time is over double than before (now its about 11 minutes -_-)

How should I get back to shape?

Alright I'm a runner,and I have this annoying problem.

Lets put it in mile times. Say I have a 5;25 mile one week,and dont run for one week. My mile time will then be 5:40 the next week(if i don't run inbetween), and then 5:55 for 2 weeks, and eventually a minute worse for a month,where some people will only get say...5 seconds worse in three months.

I then find it a problem when I get injuries as a runner,I'll have to start all over againand when I take breaks between seasons I'll be too slow again. So should I go see a doctor about this?

i havent gone to XC practice since october 13th from injury. if im fine by the 1st, how much slower will i get? and if by sometime later than next week like the 4th or 7th(XC will be over by then tho)?

my times aren't too great, but this is like my first year doing XC.

My rpt times are

6:13(could be 2 seconds faster, did it with minature 3 sec hill)

6:17

6:21

6:18(same as first)

averaging about 6:17.

We have a 2.95 mile race with tons of hills next Thursday ,and our coach said that should be about the time we get for 3 miles in a flat course. Should I be running faster or slower than the average? Also, if i were to run the mile,what should I be able to get?

i'd say Minor Threat is my favorite, maybe becasue og the subject matter and I love Fugazi and Embrace, so that would make a little biased towards Ian Mackaye. What is your favorite and why?

My cold isn't too bad; I can feel a little congestion in my throat and even less in my nose.

Before I started building my base, I could run a 5:50 mile, but only a 23 minute 5k. After 3 weeks of building a base(with 1 tempo run), I was curious about my mile, so I could set my pace for mile repeats, and I got 6:47, but I can run at about a 7:20 pace for my 5km. Is that supposed to happen?

And what pace compared to my mile should I do mile repeats?
