  • does my man not think we're good enough?

i've been with him nearly 4 years, i'm pregnant with his child, everything was great until 2 weeks ago when he lost his job :\

he's acting like it's the end of the world, because he wanted to provide for our daughter and now he can't. i know it's hard to find work, and i know we're going to struggle until he does find work again, but it isn't the end of the world, i keep telling him "don't be so down we have a child on the way" some people may say that's more reason to worry, but it isn't we're not going to struggle so much that we have to live on bread and water, we will get by !

i think it's more important that we stay happy rather than let everything fall apart, for the sake of our relationship and our unborn daughter ;\

he has everything money can't buy, yet he's acting like he has nothing :\ i know this sounds awful but i just want to slap him sometimes because he just seems so ungrateful, how can i make him see sense and stop being so down!?

  • do you think it's ok to flirt with other people when you're in a relationship?

i think it's wrong, my partner thinks it's wrong, does anybody have a different opinion on this? would you finish with your other half if he/she was flirting with someone else during your relationship? i think it's disrespectful and degrading, just not an ok thing to do in my eyes.

  • what is your opinion on child abuse and neglect?

personally I think they should bring back hanging, or just publically stone them to death.

upsets me to think there are so many children out their in dangerous/dirty/lonely environments surrounded by cruel adults and crying :(

do you think it will ever stop? why do we live in such a cruel nasty world?

  • feeling depressed during pregnancy :'(?

hello, i'm 20, 19 weeks pregnant. i'm feeling very emotional today, I can't stop crying and thinking negatively, I feel like i'm going to be a terrible mother and that everything is going to go wrong.

my partner has been really supportive, we don't live together, i'm staying with my mum until we have deposit together for a new place, shouldn't be too long, but I sit and cry because I miss him so much, I just want us to live together now, so I feel settled and feel like we're getting somewhere, but unfortunately we have to wait and save . In the mean time I lay awake at night crying missing him and just feeling really lonely :(

I know it sounds really childish, I'm not normally this emotional, how can I stop feeling so down in the dumps, this should be a happy time and I feel really ungrateful for crying and everything but I can't help it.

right so, we find out what we're expecting next week, and i really like the name Alaina Kate for a girl, the Kate being after my younger sister which i have already decided i want as a middle name,

trouble is, i like traditional names like Elizabeth, Victoria, Isabella, Grace

he doesn't .. so how do i go about this, do i choose the name Alaina Kate even though he doesn't like it very much or agree to an untraditional name i absolutely hate to please him :\?

  • do you think it's snobby that i don't want my baby wearing second hand clothes?!?

ok, so i'm expecting my first child

i'm not a snob, infact i'm far from a snob lol.. but the thought of dressing my first ever child in someone else's cast offs just upsets me, and the fact that people actually offer them upsets me..

i turned around to one girl and said "i only want my baby in new clothes but thankyou anyway, a child should have everything it needs provided by it's own parents. "

do you think this is snobby ? i really didn't mean to sound rude, it just irritates me that people just assume you want their casts off because you're young, i'm 20 but i do work and my partner works full-time.. i know obviously some women really do need the extra help and i'm not at all slating them, i just think it's a little degrading when someone offers you their babies casts offs.

  • Can't forgive myself for what I did to my relationship. Please Read.?

so, me and my boyfriend have been together 4 years now. we've been through a lot.

i had a one night stand about a year and a half ago after we had a big argument. he knows, i told him a few days after, i told him because he deserved better and then went to leave, but he wouldn't let me go. he said we could work through it and that he loved me, and i love him for that so much and i'm so lucky to have a guy like that!

i feel like i don't deserve him and that he'll wake up one day and realize that too and he'll leave for someone worthy, and to be honest, who would blame him? certainly not me :'\

our relationship is great now, we have a baby on the way, he's provided most of what our baby has. we really have moved past it as a couple, but I havn't as a person.

I just want to know, how can I ever move past this, I regret what I did every single day of my life. I want him to know this, how can I just prove how much I love him, so he really does know. ? :'\ he's my best friend.

  • 16 weeks pregnant , bleeding after sex?

hi, me and my partner were doing the doo today, and after he pulled out, i started bleeding, it wasn't a hell of a lot, but it was enough to worry me, i'm still spotting now, i've put a pad on.

i'm really worried, could something be wrong with the baby :\ i'm not having ANY cramping infact all feels completely normal, but could the bleeding mean something is wrong ?

  • ended relationship with boyfriend, did i do the right thing in your opinion?

right so, the weekend is the only time me and my boyfriend got to see eachother as he works all week, and he decided this weekend he would clear off to his brothers, it's like a half hour 45 min drive.

anyway, he didn't contact me at all from thursday after promising he would, i phoned him about an hour ago, he answered, i asked why he was ignoring me, he said he's got no credit..

i just replied by saying "well you got your full pay and promised to keep in touch, how would you feel if i ignored you the entire weekend after clearing off somewhere?"

he started acting clever in front of his little buddies anyway so i put the phone down, and just texted saying hope it was worth speaking to me like that in front of your friends because you can now consider yourself single, i don't want to hear from you again?

do you think this was irrational? of course i love him, but sorry i'm not taking that from any guy, he was downright rude and disrespectful down the phone and made me feel about 2 feet tall, i don't see why i should apologize for speaking my mind, do you?

  • boyfriend not contacted me since thursday?

hi, i spoke to my boyfriend of 3 years on thursday.. he told me he couldn't meet me friday morning because he was going to his brothers till sunday and could only get picked up in the morning, so i said it's fine, he said he'd keep in contact when he left and that was basically the last i heard from him.

i texted him about an hour ago saying "sorry are you too busy to say hello to your girlfriend? men. xx"

i havn't got a reply, i know he could of left his phone charger at home or something silly like that, so i don't want to freak out about it.. but i don't want him to think he can just come back and me be at his beck and call.

so he's due back tomorrow and i know he'll come crawling back when he gets home, guess i'm asking how you think i should handle the not getting in contact thing when he was away?.. i think it's really rude and could of at least got in touch to say hello!

also, would it be childish to give him a taste of his own medicine and ignore him for a few days? ..

  • PLEASE HELP, freaking out about blood, 15 weeks pregnant!?

after having sex with my boyfriend, i noticed some blood, the first bit looked bright red, now it just looks like pink/peachy discharge, i have had stomach pains all day, but i was told this was normal due to the body getting used to pregnancy, it isn't like bleeding, it looked like blood at first but now just looks like pink discharge.

has this happened to anyone? should i phone the midwife tomorrow? this is my first pregnancy, my baby seems to have been healthy so far, i won't be able to sleep unless i'm reassured :\

  • almost 16 weeks pregnant, worried about stomach pains?

hi, i'm just wondering, if anyone who has had a child experienced any pains during pregnancy, recently my stomach has started bloating up to the point where i feel like i'm going to explode, i'm not constipated or anything..

it goes down after a while but then comes back and the pains it brings along with it when it bloats up it's like a horrible period pain, the kind where you want to curl in a ball and cry..

is this normal or is something wrong? i'm not showing, only time i look pregnant is when it bloats up and feels all hard.

  • UK citizens, what is your opinion on the upcoming law- bedroom tax?!?

bedroom tax? what a load of bs, for you who don't know what it is it means if you are not using one of your bedrooms you either take in a lodger or pay extra on top of your rent.

my opinion is what about the elderly who wouldn't feel safe living under the same roof as a stranger?, what about people with kids with a spare room are they supposed to take in a strange lodger when they want privacy for them and their children?, what about the people who have lost a child who keep their bedrooms exactly as they were (as most people do) in memory of their child, are they supposed to pay for this bedroom that they still class as their childs room?, i say if you pay your rent you shouldn't have to pay for a spare bedroom that no one's using and you shouldn't have to take in a lodger just so you don't have to pay!, bollocks government the only people who vote are the rich as the government make them and themselves money from robbing off the poor.

what is your opinion on this upcoming law?

  • night in with boyfriend and let friend down, or go out with friend?

hi, i feel like a douche if i let my friend down, it's her engagement party, although i think its silly her getting engaged to a woman she's not long met and she's only 19, i have been supportive as it's what she wants.

i only get to see my partner on the weekends as he works all through the week, so we go out on the weekend and shop for baby clothes/bits (i'm pregnant) etc, go for dinner and have a catch up then spend the rest of the night together, we miss eachother all week and these are the only times we can spend some time together.

my friends having her engagement party in a pub, if i go, i won't be drinking as i'm pregnant, i'll be tired and fed up if i'm honest, but i agreed to go because she's my friend.

now my two plans have clashed, i don't know which i should do, i feel awful if i let her down, what would you do if you was in my position?
