Help

Hello, I do not want to come of as weird. I am a pretty young boy, and I care about school. I have been raised this way. The thing is, I always thought that since I have to go to school while I'm young and can have fun, I should embrace it. Ever since then I was one of the most popular kids in school. Being popular isn't my first priority by the way. It just makes school more enjoyable. I would have so many friends and do things every weekend while maintaining excellent grades. I am in all honors classes and a year ahead in math than my grade takes. But everything has changed. Ever since I have started middle school, I have been put in all the smart classes. Which is great. The thing is, being around all smarter kids that I do not know that are generally not very popular, has made me lose contact with all my old crowd. Anyone have some tips on how to get back in contact? I wish all the best. I hope I seem much more mature than my age.
