  • How are "Annual Fees" processed?

When a credit card will charge annual fees, how are these usually billed? Do you pay the annual fee as one-time payments each year, or are they divided in each month?

  • Does Free Youtube to MP3 Converter give viruses?

My mother keeps downloading that Youtube to MP3 Converter, so she can have songs for her phone. Every time she downloads it and gets songs, her computer screws up. Now, it can t even connect wirelessly to an internet. It detects networks but can t connect. I don t know if it is that, or a song she converted through that program, or something else.

Does this program give viruses? When it converts a Youtube video to an MP3, could the computer be infected with a bug in the process? Can certain videos do that? Is it something else entirely?

I seriously try to convince her in deleting that program, but she won t stop.

  • Do these fluids need to be "flushed" with car?

This dealership said I needed my brake, transmission, and power steering fluids flushed. I recall to never mess with transmission fluid as once dust gets in, then the car is screwed.

What I don t understand is if these are "contaminated" as they say, why can I brake and steer efficiently as always?

I ve had this car for 7 years and the mileage is 80,000

  • Need advice on potential job?

I interviewed for a position a couple weeks ago. I think that I have a great chance at getting the position. They told me that I had to wait two weeks for an answer.

Today, my current supervisor was going to raise my salary where I would be making $5,000 more per year than what the potential position offered.

If I tell the other company that my current position will offer more money, will I have a chance at getting something higher from the other company? I don't know yet if I was chosen, so should I wait until they offer me the job?

  • Is response to thank-you note good or bad?

I recently interviewed for a job position and sent a thank you note. The interview went well. The employer replied with the exact following:

"It was a pleasure to meet you as well. Thank you for meeting with us today."

I don't know then if the employer was actually impressed with me.

  • How to send thank you note?

I recently had a job interview, and they said notifications will be sent next week. I wanted to send a thank you note, but I had three interviewers at once.

I remember one person's name. I tried to find the other two, but can't find their profiles on the company website, and I don't remember their names.

I'm worried that if I only give Stephanie one, then the others will think negatively when deciding the person. What should I do?

  • Windows Activation error on HP?

My HP computer recently had a message pop-up: Key Management Services cannot be located. I read that this happens when trying to activate Windows 7, but I've always had Windows 7. It worked fine. Why is this message suddenly popping up?

  • McAfee doesn't work?

4 days ago, My McAfee Online Access Scanner automatically became disabled. I tried enabling it, but it wouldn't work. I tried running a full scan, gives me this message:

The required DAT files are missing or they are corrupted. Unable to initialize the scanning engine. Reinstall the product.

I did an auto update, says the update failed; but a window popped up installing all these new updates. Then it said the product was updated and closed automatically.

I ran my computer with Malwarebytes but it didn't find anything.

  • What to do when looking for new job?

I have been looking for a new job. My current one doesn't pay well, and I need a change. What I'm worried about is how to approach new jobs. Once, I told my supervisor that I preferred to work directly with people and he got upset and overreacted. He preferred me in my current position behind a computer.

My references are current co-workers, but they may tell my supervisor behind my back that I am looking for a new job. If he finds out, I'm worried he'll fire me.

I don't know on whether I should tell my supervisor or not.

What is the difference between a non-peak night and ones on Friday and Saturday? Do you get more rides and shows on Friday and Saturday nights, or is it the same no matter which day?

  • Can a virus go from one computer to another wirelessly?

My mother's computer was infected with a virus recently. It was a Trojan Horse. I tried getting rid of it, but I think it's still there, because the computer was still acting up. I think it may have been something worse to where it infects your computer with more viruses.

I told her to get it fixed, but she doesn't want to. I told her the risks (stolen passwords, others accessing computer, etc). She didn't care because she doesn't have online banking or credit card accounts.

I'm worried though what hackers may do with it. Can they perform illegal activities with her computer, and she gets blamed? Delete essential software and hardware from her computer? I'm also worried that these may travel to my computer after reading about the Chameleon virus.

  • How is Zune for the PC?

Someone told me about Zune, which is like Itunes but for PC. If you download Zune onto your PC, does it take over all your video players to where you can only use a Zune player to view your DVD movies?

Does it offer the same movies and tv shows as Itunes, and at the same or lowered price? Is there a subscription fee with Zune?

  • How is the Concealed Weapons Permit Course?

Sadly, I live in a dangerous neighborhood, and would feel safer with a weapon. I wanted to enroll in a Concealed Weapons Course, but the closest experience I've had with a weapon is a stun gun. I have played gun games with gun controllers, but that's about it. Do I need experience with a firearm before enrolling in a Concealed Weapons Permit Course?

  • Will I still have benefits at the end of this year?

I recently started working a full-time job with the State of Florida. I have Health, Dental, Vision, and an Investment Plan (which takes the place of a pension plan).

My recent paycheck for November did not deduct for my Health, Dental, and Vision Plans. I checked the information center and found this:

"Employees paid Biweekly are reminded that no deductions or contributions for State Health, Life, or Disability Insurance; pretax salary deductions and administrative assessments; FL prepaid tuition or other deductions referenced in the Bureau of State Payrolls Manual, Vol. III, pg. 15, footnote (1), will be made on the 3rd biweekly payroll, warrant date 11/27/2013; these are only made 24 times."

I am a biweekly hourly employee. However, I am not sure if the non-deductions were a mistake. Also, does this mean that I will not receive benefits in December?
