Just a random curiosity. Can the cops or the FBI search a house that isn t owned by anyone except maybe the bank? Like it s a house for sale and is owned by a bank, what are the laws for searching it? I can t find a satisfactory answer by Google searching or reading warrant laws.

I walked into a mean bookcase almost a month ago. Fractured my small toe. Was kind of a strange situation, being that some time in my life, the bone in the tip of my pinkie fused together with the bone that it connect to, basically making it one bone... Well, it broke on the fuse line. Well, anyway, it's been about a month, and my small toe is still swollen to almost double. Most of the bruising has faded, though there is still light bruising in some places. It's damn near impossible to bend it like normal and if I even try, the most excruciating pain shoots through it. It's a bit warm with a pinkish tint. I have to wear a VERY fashionable surgical shoe because I work 8+ hours a day, and socks sometimes hurt it. How long will this keep up? When should I worry, if at all? Is it normal for a month old broken toe to look like a Vienna sausage? Why is my bookcase so mean? Please help.

My friend has been with a man for 12 years. She is 27, so she has been with him for most of her young adult life. Recently, he has been asking her to have a threesome with another man. She doesn't want this to happen. He gets angry with her when she says she doesn't want to do it. He tries to give her options to make it easier, like, "Well, would you prefer it to be a man or a woman? I can just get a woman to have sex with you and I can watch if it makes it easier." and other weird things like this. He never takes into consideration that she DOESN'T want to do it period. He says that he's getting bored with the sex and he wants to spice it up, but she feels like it's too much to try to have a 3rd person in. He wants to try rough sex and bed restraints and things like that. She just doesn't know how to handle all of this. After her saying many times that she doesn't want to do this, he is relentless and keeps asking her to. She is getting to her wits end. I've suggested that she gets some couples counseling, but I don't know if they'd go for it or not. Advice??

I normally use Prismacolor artist markers. I love how they are light, and don't color really dark, aren't opaque and they have a nice watercolor look. Unfortunately, they're about 6 dollars for a double tipped marker, and it gets very pricey. Can anyone suggest great quality artists markers that may be a little more reasonable? I've never bought anything other than Prismacolor, so I don't want to waste money with trial and error with other brands. Thank you so much!

Hey guys! I currently live in Indiana and I am moving to Florida in March. I grew up here and have never moved. I have only traveled inside the surrounding states and traveled drove to Florida for vacation once. I'm nervous and this is such a big thing that I don't know what to expect. So my question is: have you ever done something like this? If so, how did you like it?? Are you still there or did you move back to your hometown? What kind of toll did it take on your relationships with family and friends?

Hi. I live in the state of Indiana. I got side swiped by a guy trying to go around the person in front of him when he slammed into my car. I will just honestly say that I don't have insurance because I don't have a lot of money. I'm not after money. I'm not trying to get my car fixed. And honestly, it's just a tiny gash and a little dent in the side of my door. I honestly don't even care about fixing it. The guy was really nice and didn't seem to be sneaky or anything. He admitted it was his fault and then he gave me his business card, his number, name, insurance and license plate number.

So here is the question. What will happen to me? I don't want to get my license taken away or something. And I really could care less about that tiny dent. What are my options?

I always thought it would be cool to be a flight attendant, but I have no idea how to start. Do you need a degree?? Where would I apply?

I have purchased my HTC EVO 2 weeks ago from eBay. It was refurbished. There is a problem with most HTC EVOs having problems with loose charging ports. Mine worked perfectly fine until today, I noticed that it was very loose. So loose to the point that when I put my charger into it, it pushes the port all the way back. If I pull the charger out, it pulls the port back up. Many many people have issues with this exactly problem.

Here are the main questions I need help with.

Because it is an ongoing problem with HTC EVO, some people have gotten it replaced for cheap or free. Will I be able to get mine replaced? I don't have insurance on it. (Never had insurance on any of my 3 Sprint Phones I've ever had) But I've read forums where people got it replaced because it was a general problem with the certain phone.

Has anyone been in the situation where their EVO had this problem recently and had no insurance? What did you do? What did they do/say?

If I can't get it replaced or fixed through Sprint, does anyone know a place I can get it replaced or fixed for a reasonable price?
