So I boot up modern warfare today and when I went on split screen my (formerly) mid 40s level classes and all were back to level one without any explanation. Is there any way to get them back? I really don't feel like replaying all those hours. And if it matters, the classes and whatnot I unlocked on Live (same profile on xbox) were not reset they're still at 54. But I would rather get back my split screen stuff as it had more stuff unlocked.

So my brother has a few paid apps on his laptop that I'd like for my phone. Is there a way to just get those few apps that I want on my phone, without having to delete everything that's there already and replace it with his stuff (though I know how not to replace my music and videos with his...thank god, his music is terrible anyway).

Should I maybe find a way to copy those files and put them on my computer or would that not work/be too hard. Keep in mind I'm pretty computer retarded. Or at least technology is going out of it's way to make sure it doesn't work while I'm around.

So recently as I went to play Uncharted 2 I noticed that there was no sound playing in the game. I went back to the main menu to see if there was something wrong with the sound options but there was sound as I navigated the menu. After checking with other disks it seems like whenever I'm either playing a game or a movie, all the sound just shuts off. The sounds goes through the optical cable separate from the video which goes through the HDMI straight to the tv (and used to work fine). Right now I get sound all the time if I just switch it to HDMI, but it only comes out of the tv not the surround that the optical is hooked up to.

I've read on some forums that if I switched it to HDMI then back to optical that would fix it...no dice. So how do I fix this?

So I recently got a PS3 and the HDMI cable to get HD picture. The HDMI cable hooked up to my tv so sound only came from the tv's speakers. Someone told me (on Yahoo answers no less) to get an Optical cable to hook up from my PS3 to my receiver to get surround sound. I looked it up on the internet and asked the guy at future shop and it seemed as if it was going to work. I bring this cable back home plug it into the V.AUX. input from my console turned the receiver to that channel and set the audio output from the Playstation to Optical cable. I am not getting any sound anymore at all. How do I fix that?

So I recently got my ps3 and my HDMI cable hooked it up everything works fine except that when I'm using the console, no surround sound, the only sound comes from the tv itself. Now, the HDMI cable is hooked up right to the back of the tv, the tv is not hooked up to my surround sounds receiver however. Would I only need to buy those red and white audio jacks and connect them to my tv and receiver to get surround sound for my ps3?

So if I played throught mass effect a couple times which save file does mass effect 2 use as my character, the last one or can I pick one playthrough from before?

Hey I'm learning Floods by Pantera and I was wondering how I get that kind of distant sound from the outro. I think there's a bit of delay there and some distortion but it sounds like there's something else kind of giving it like a Zelda-ish sound almost. Probably the wrong way to explain it, but if I did know what I was trying to say I wouldn't be asking really.

I was just wondering if in WoW, you could (at least in theory) straight up walk into an enemy city with alot of high level guys and just attack everything. I figure you can't in PvE, but normal and PvP could work right? My guy is pretty low level so I can't yet but I think it would be fun to see a couple hundred (hard to organize...I know) Horde members rushing Stormwind. With Stormwind as an example still, could you not just get 6 or guilds to get all there lvl 80 guys on at a specific time and each guild take one part of the city.So possible (yes or no), likely (yes or no) and wouldn't you want to see it happen?

So I got myself a new gameboy color a while ago. I tried playing my new (well...new to me used by someone else) pokemon silver game but found it did not save. I looked around and heard about the battery in the cartridge but just for fun I tried it on my old gamboy color, and saving worked. Now I know the problem is with the gameboy itself, not the game. Does anyone know of a way to fix it. I have gold and Silver and would like to trade between the two, hence why I don't want to just use the one that works only.

I recently bought Warhammer mark of chaos Battle march. I brought it home, installed it and when i try to play it a message pops-up saying "Cannot locate the CD-ROM please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application." I've tried it with both disks they both get the same message. I have noticed that on my computer where the Cd drive it the name changes but the icon stays the same, don't know if that's relevant but I thought I might as well.

PS. Had the demo on my PC...worked. Also the disks are DVD but my disc reader can read DVDs.

So I'm looking to get another electric guitar and I'm hoping that some people here can point me in the right direction. My price range is basically no more than 1000$, but around 800$ is where I'd like to keep it. The only other requirement is that it must have a floating bridge/whammy bar. Also, I recall a friend telling me a long time ago that with floating bridges you have to watch what string you put on (or something to do with that) .Is that true?

If I get a new one do my achievements, DLC, and (I doubt this one) my save files get transferred onto it through my Xbox Live account.

So recently I've seen my fighter in career mode go from a record of

20-4 on a 12 or 13 fight win streak. He could go and exchange punches with his opponents and maybe get knocked down once or twice, but never knocked out. He was able to get out of every submission attempt they could throw at him, except for those four losses at first when I had no clue how to escape. Now the guy can't take one counter punch it seems without getting knocked out cold (note: none of my couter punches even rock people anymore). And every submission attempt is impossible to get out of. It's getting ridiculous now my record is now like 23-10 and I can't stop guys that I manhandled at the beginning of the career. My fighter's skills are comparable to the actual fighter's on the roster, not to mention better than when I was on my winning streak. So why does my fighter suck now.

So I'm looking to try out a new kind of guitar string. Been using D'Addarios Phosphor bronze (or something like that) first. Then I switched to Dean Markley's, which I like better but are like almost 20$ a pop. I heard Elixirs are good but just as expensive as Dean Markleys. So what is a good but less expensive (around 10$) brand of strings?

so my question is. How does one fix this?

my brother got a new blue ray player and surround sound system both panasonic DMP-bd55 (Blu-ray) SC-PTX7 (sound system), i can get the picture i just don't know what button to push for the sound to come on. don't know if anyone can answer with that info or not but i just suck with this stuff.

So, I get the game 100% downloaded on BitComet but I have no idea how to get it to play?

I bought the game and now when I try to install it, a blank error box pops up with no description and when I click it goes back to the wizard and gives me this message,

The installation for sins of a solar empire has failed: "Fatal error during installation". Please check your settings and try again.

So my question is...WTF?

I checked and my pc exceeds all the system requirements.

The ones I find are either blocked or I have to do some stupid vote 5 times then you dowload and then I doubt it works anyway.
