ok i go to view the neighborhood (sims 2 double deluxe) and the roads are white, and have words all over them! i go to make a family and all i can make is teenagers and adults. if i try to make a child, toddler, elder, they have white bodies with words all over them! its so weird! and some of the objects i buy wont show up like a car, driveway etc. i played on my old computer before it crashed, and it was fine! i don't have words all over my people and roads! P.S. i tried unitstalling and reinstalling the game, and it didn't help.

  • Is using a flash noseband ok...?

i have a english bridle, with a western bit on it. my horse evades the bit frequently, so i just started using a flash and she has been doing pretty well with it. but with the western bit, the flash seems like it doesn't fit right, i have to tuck it behind the bit. are flash nose bands supposed to be used just with english bits?

  • What is a barrel saddle pad?

the horse i ride 23 year old arabian, is somewhat skinny, because she used to be neglected she now has enough weigh to ride and i have ridden her a few times. usually i use a foam support pad underneath then a saddle blanket. the saddle blankets always seem to big. so i just found this "barrel saddle pad" i liked how it was smaller in size. http://www.chicksaddlery.com/page/CDS/PROD/1030/FB... i was wondering if i could use this double fleece pad with a regular western pleasure/trail saddle. i would like to use this fleece one so she doesn't have to wear a support. will it fit the saddle?

  • Should I use a martingale with this horse?

I just started riding a 23 year old arabian. i ride her western, because that is what she is used to. she has TONS of energy. sometimes i will lunge her before i ride to get some of the energy out of her. but when i ride she is very bad at stopping, and staying at a nice collected trot, and sometimes she will speed up at the canter. she doesn't throw her head really, but i can't keep to tight of a rein because she will jerk her head. can i use a martingale with a western saddle? i would rather get her gaits under control before i ride english. she just had her teeth done 1 month ago. how would i attach a martingale to a western saddle? thanks! i need to get this horse under control!

  • My parents won't let me ride anymore?

i volunteer at this barn, and for my work i get to ride and it is fun, but im not the best rider in the world, i have only been riding for about 3 years. i just started riding english at another barn, and i love it there, i can volunteer there, but they don't let you ride for your work which is dumb. my parents told me they would only pay for 10 weeks of lessons. i offered to pay for half of the cost so i could have another 10 weeks. i try to tell them i want to get better, but they don't care. they just want me to stick to volunteering at this other barn. i told them i could really get hurt if i don't get more lessons, and they just told me, 'then don't go anymore!' how do i convince them to let me ride? i was also thinking about leasing, but noooo they don't want to drive me."

  • Splint boots or bell boots?

I am just starting to work with a 14 year old arabian. she used to be a school horse before she was severely neglected. she is doing fine now, and i want to teach her how to jump. how should i properly teach her how to jump? should i buy splint boots or open front boots (just for the front) and what size fits most horses? she is about 13.5 hands because my arena has no good footing and i don't want her to hurt her legs jumping. also, should i get bell boots because i don't want her clipping her self when she lands the jump. is all this necessary? i think splint boots would help, but i don't know about bell boots, please help!

  • What size halter should i get?

the barn i ride at has all missouri fox trotters. i want to order a new halter for this one horse because the other one is beat up. i want to order it tonight. the horse i want it for seems to be a tiny bit bigger than the others. not much though. do people usually buy the regular horse size and lg horse size for draft horses? does the regular size seem to fit most average sized horses? i don't know how many hands she is. a regular horse size is Jeffers® Premium Halters, horse, 600-900 lbs (3ply 1")

and the lg horse size is Jeffers® Premium Halters, lrg horse, 900-1200 lbs (3-ply 1") should i stick with the regular size? i kind of need to order tonight!

  • Horse is very eager to move but limps?

if you look at my previous question i ride a 25 year old horse that has arthritis that can only canter one way in the round pen (if i lunge) because if she uses her other leg, she can't stretch it because it is bowed. (please view other question) when i ask her to walk or trot she happily moves foward. but when i try to bring her into a canter she is hesitant. when she goes outside she rolls and kicks up her heels. she is NOT lame. should i ask her to canter, and will riding her make it worse? she has never shown any irratation from her leg. thanks! :)

  • Can i canter a horse with arthritis?

i ride a 25 year old horse, and she has a bow front ligament in her front right leg. (shortened ligament) so she does limp a little bit but it doesn't bother her. i ride in a round pen and before i ride i lunge her. if we go counter-clockwise her left leg is facing in the arena and she can canter as long as her left leg is the lead leg, but when i get on, she doesn't want to seem to canter the same direction. should i use a crop? or is my weight bothering her leg?
