Scratch Removal from plastic?
This weekend I dropped my bike (GSX-R1000) on a soft shoulder at about 1 mph. What i thought was dirt was actually sand. Frame slider did nothing because what i dropped it in was too soft. Now i have scratches on the lower side of my fairing. Once i removed the dirt you can't really see the scratches , BUT I KNOW THEY ARE THERE. Anyone know of a way to remove the scrathces and polish the plastic.

1 AnswerMotorcycles1 decade agoIs there a flight school out there with a better placement program?
I am looking at going to Airline Transport Professionals for flight training taking the full Career pilot program with the private add on. I want to go there mainly for their regional carrier agreemnet program. I really don't want to spend $63K on it but i don't want to have to wait 5 years to get a job.
5 AnswersAircraft1 decade agoAm I too old to start a flying career?
After 20 yrs of service to the U.S. Navy (not as a pilot) I am ready to start my second career. I have always dreamed of becoming an airline pilot and I've done some research on how to reach my goal. When i retire I'll be 38. Have I missed my window of opportunity? I read on one website that most airlines don't hire new recruits beyond the age of 32. I figure if i go through an accelerated program such as Airline transport Professionals (ATP) i could be ready for a Regional carrier in 18 monts which puts me close to 40. Would i be wasting my time. I would hate to spend all that money and can't get a job in that field.
8 AnswersAircraft1 decade agoAre there any pilots out there who have been to the Airline Transport Professional School?
After doing some research it would appear that this is one of the top schools in the country for training pilots as a career. Total schooling is going to cost me around $65k which includes "85-Hour Private Pilot Program & Intro to IFR", "Airline Career Pilot Program" and the "Regional Jet Standards Certification". A huge investment in my eyes. But i can't seem to find any reviews of the school other than the testimonials on their website. I would like to know how good the training is and how readily accepted is their training in the airline industry. I understand there are cheaper routes but are the cheaper routes better. For additional info check out their website: http://www.atpflightschool.com/
