  • Can dentures be made more realistic?,. Slight gaps?

A co workers upper dentures are so realistic. She said she asked them to keep her original slight gaps.

Can they really do that?? Is it advisable? Any tips on buying new dentures appreciated!!..

  • Dentures in immediately or after swelling goes down?

May be getting upper dentures soon. My dentist mentioned taking an impression and having the dentures ready to put in as soon as teeth were pulled. A family member just had hers done and they advised to wait till stitches removed and swelling down. She hasn't even been fitted yet.

A co worker was asleep as hers were pulled, when she wole up,.. her dentures were already in. She only takes them out to clean and puts right back in.

So, dentures in immediately or wait??..

He did a stress test on my heart,..but now what? Feel like I am diagnosing myself?? So ok readers,.. what do I do?? I am a receptionist, alot of sitting, not enough excercise (shamefully admitted).. circulation? Kidneys, lungs?.. These have all been suggested by family as possible causes but apparantly the dr only checks what "I" suggest. Any advise is appreciated. Especially from those of experience or the medical field!
