If you don't like the way your hairdresser dries your hair, is it okay to offer to dry it yourself? I wasn't sure if that would offend them.

Last time I got my hair cut, my hairdresser was so rough when he dried my hair. I had so much breakage at my part and I swore I wouldn't go back, but here I am with an appointment this afternoon. I've been going to this guy for years so I feel bad about switching. Would it be rude if I asked him if I could dry it? Or, I guess I could leave with a wet head, but then you can't really tell if the cut is right.

I missed Friday's Y&R because of the Presidential address. If you saw it, can you tell me how the whole Nikki, Deacon, Meggie thing went down? Also, were there any other important things that happened that day?

can you just select certain songs or do you have to select entire folders? Most of my music is on iTunes, but there are a few songs that didn't transfer over. If I pick the folder, will I end up with duplicates on iTunes? I'm new to iTunes, so I apologize if this is a dumb question :)

If you're looking at a used car (2001 Honda Civic) on a dealer lot and your mechanic tells you it needs an $800 timing belt tune-up, is it reasonable to try to get the dealer to lower his price by at least that much since he is unwilling to do the repairs?

As a homeroom parent, I'm responsible for doing a poster for a teacher for staff appreciation day. My poster is for a first and second grade special ed teacher. I'm looking for some creative ideas to make the poster extra special. I appreciate your suggestions!

I've made them on a board before, but my neighbor wants one to put on a rod. Is there a trick to making the rod pocket? Should I make the pleat below the pocket or just tack it down and keep it part of the pocket? The material is vertical stripes (if that makes a difference)

I have an IEP meeting for my daughter in May and the focus is mainly on her school placement for next year. She is currently in an intermediate unit classroom with children with various disabilities. She has learning delays. We want her back in the district, but her teacher wants to hold her out another year. At past meetings, we were not given a copy of the IEP until weeks later. Are they required to provide me with a copy either prior to or at the meeting if I request one? Also, the IU is performing an evaluation on her. Should I be given a copy of that report prior to the IEP meeting as well? I don't want any surprises.

My daughter has been outplaced by our school district because of learning delays. We are trying to get her back in for next year and I'm getting the feeling that the program she's in now is going to fight to keep her there. We do not feel it's in her best interest to stay there. Does anyone know the wording for the district's responsibility to provide appropriate education for children? She is not a behavioral problem. Her issues are mainly attention related.
