Susan
I live on Earth. I drink water at least once a day. I breathe a gaseous cocktail mainly consisting of nitrogen and oxygen. I weigh over fifty pounds. I do not answer to "Susie." I hated middle school. My favorite thing to say is "molto strano" which means "very strange" in Italian. I am a grammar stickler.
How are rats like people?
Just think about our long history together...rats and people both. We must have rubbed off on each other some, right? I put this in the science category because of the kinds of responses that I'd get in the society & culture board.

I may take down the photo of myself soon, and I'd like a picture of something other than a person. I'd also prefer that it not be a flower, a beautiful view, a musical note or instrument, a sunrise, a dog, a chess piece, a pen, a fish, or anything unoriginal like that. I like science, math, astronomy, chemistry, heavy machinery (especially in the steampunk style), old things, ingenious things, symbolic things, and ancient languages.

Now, now, don't rag on me because I know what a "dragon aspect" is. It's just for fun, people.
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhat's a good apocalyptic poem?
Something dramatic and preferably ancient would be nice. It doesn't have to be specifically a poem. It could be a song or a short excerpt from a story.

1 AnswerPoetry1 decade agoDoes microwaving something kill the viruses and bacteria in it?
If you get a dirty sponge sopping wet and put it in the microwave for ten second, then rinse it off, it stops smelling because the bacteria have been killed. Does it work the same way for viruses?

1 AnswerFacebook1 decade agoWhat's your favorite book title?
Sometimes as I'm browsing the library, a beautiful book title will just jump out at me. I started a little list to keep track of my favorites. So far a few of them include "Gravity's Rainbow," "City of God," and "A Return to Earth." I haven't read any of these (and I think A Return to Earth hasn't been in print for decades) but I just fell in love with the titles. What are your some especially poetic or beautiful book titles that you like?
5 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoWhat happened to Falstad?
Hello, I just finished reading the Shattering yesterday, and I noticed something. It said that Falstad Wildhammer was going to be on the Council of Three Hammers, but in the Beta it's Kurdran Wildhammer and Falstad was not in the game at all. What happened to him?
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhat was high school like for you?
Was it good or was it living @#!*% ? Were you popular or did you desperately want to be popular or did you not give a rotten fig whether people thought you were cool?
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education1 decade agoI found a book full of numbers, what was it?
A few years ago, I was browsing through a large private library and came across a book that was about fifty or sixty years old. I don't remember what it was called, but it was full of columns and columns of printed numbers, and nothing else.
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoI am bored of all the genres of music that I know. Can you tell me one that I've never heard of?
Something completely different from everything I've ever heard, and maybe some artists who do that kind of thing.

I'd like it to be Parisian French, and mostly news and talk, so that I can work on my French skills. Merci!
3 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoWhy are forbidden things so attractive?
As soon as someone says, "You can't have it," immediately, everyone wants it. What part of human nature does this appeal to? Religiously, philosophically, or psychologically speaking.
9 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoFor those of you have seen the movie, how do you pronounce Aro from Twilight's name?
This is the freaky creepy ancient head vampire. Is it pronounced like ay-ROW or ah-ROW, arrow, or something different?
Haven't seen the movies (and don't intend to), but I recently thought of the most brilliant thing. Whenever someone asks me "Team Edward or Team Jacob?" I will give them a Look and say "Team Aro." and this would lose its scathing impressiveness if I didn't pronounce his name right.
